In general 10 lbs a month is the maximum weight loss you should be attempting. I would slow down a bit. Unfortunately, your abdominal fat cannot be isolated. When your body metabolizes fat for energy it does so globally, not in specific places.

It is possible that you lost a lot of water. That is too much to lose in 2 weeks, and it can come back almost as quickly as you lost it. Don't starve yourself or else you will lose muscle. Keep doing the cardio, but be sure to eat regularly (smaller meals are better than larger ones, about 5 or 6 small ones per day), and do some weight training tone and build a bit more muscle.
You can't "spot" reduce -- in other words, we can't specifically exercise the stomach area to lose the fat from the stomach. Fat will be lost anywhere it exists, but not specifically from any one area. Your best bet is to exercise sensibly and eat a good mix of foods (don't go for those no-carb diets), and don't live on salad; eat healthy, lean protein along with your veggies. Avoid the bad carbs such as chips, soda, cake, fries. In time you will see the fat reducing, but don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen overnight. It takes time and persistance. Good for you for starting a plan!

you can loose that much weight ... sure, but it's not healthy and most people would tell you not to do it. The reality is, it's your body. Now, speaking from experience here, depending how you're losing the weight (Atkins...is my experience), you have to watch because the minute you go off the diet you'll gain the weight back fast.
The key to any good weight loss is slow (I believe they say to average about 2 pounds per week to be healthy): good diet, exercise, and positive attitude.
Pilates will help you lose weight and tone up.... especially the tummy.... most of it is based around the abs. I used the MTV Pilates dvd (found it at Walmart) and although it was tough in the beginning, it became easier and fun even. I used to do a lot of walking as well.
Lose the weight slowly and you'll have more success in keeping it off. If all else fails and you want a professional opinion, talk to your dr... he/she could set you up on a reduced calorie diet as well.
Good luck

15 pounds in two weeks is very unhealthy. Your body can't handle the sudden weight loss and has trouble cooperating with certain functions. Healthy weight loss is an average 1-2 pounds per week. The body needs time to adjust.

Id say it depends on how heavy you were to start with, since larger people (And men, just by the way) tend to lose weight faster. If you were a beanpole two weeks ago, then no, it's not healthy.

The problem with this is your body will start eating it's own muscle mass, and you will end up flabby, if you are not getting enough calories.

Good job. Even if it is a little drastic, you are accomplishing something. That is awesome!
