I have had these itchy bumps for a week now and they didn't itch at first, but now they itch like CRAZY!! I had been to the doctor and took a blood test and they are not chicken pox. I didn't eat anything that I don't usully eat. I've been using the same detergant for years now. I am a very clean person and don't go a day without taking a shower. I mostly never wear the same clothes without washing them. I am not allergic to my animals neither am I allergic to anything else except for poison ivy, but it's not that. They aren't bug bites or pimples.

HELP I have no idea what they could be! They are spreading and itch. I take 2 benadryl and it's not itchy. I'm very worried about what it could be and I don't like not know what is wrong with me. If there's anyone that can help me you imput is GREATLY appriciated! =D

Yes, I am agreeing with 2 of the above posts- I was also a victim of scabies from a tanning bed a few years ago! It's usually something that dirty people have more because they don't get it treated and spread it to other dirty people, but if one of those dirty people happens to lie in a tanning bed and the salon doesn't sanitize it properly, a perfectly clean person can catch it! An antifungal cream like what they use for athlete's foot or yeast infections might bring you some relief while you are waiting to get to the doctor for it.

You can also catch scabies and other bad infections (like staph) from getting a pedicure, because often the pedicure spas aren't cleaned properly either!

The other thing I was going to suggest is exzema or psoraisis- I used to get it when I was younger. Itchy, red, scaly, yucky looking and has nothing to do with hygene or allergies- For me the dry winter air or stress would make it flare up. If that's what it is, cortizone cream will help, and aveeno makes some sort of oat meal bath additive also. The stuff a dermatologist will prescribe works the best though.

The bottom line is you need to go to a dermatologist. General practitioners just don't seem to take the time to bother themselves with more than a routine physical or common cold anymore! (At least in my experience that's how it's been!) It's pretty disgusting that with as much money as they make they cannot take care of your condition!

I hope it feels better soon!

Rashes happen for a lot of reasons, and you can develop new allergies and skin disorders at any time in your life. If you live someplace cold, the rash could be related to the dry heat made by furnaces.

If bendryl helps, you've probably developed a new allergy. See an allergist, but in the meantime, bathe in Aveno (the little packets you dump in the bath - ask your pharmacist), use Cortizone, put Neosporin on areas where the skin is broken, and try to relax! Stress makes rashes worse.

If you develop high fever or the rash is really freaking you out, go to Urgent care.

I think you are stressing too much, maybe if you calm down and take an oatmeal bath that would help. There is some great aveeno bath soothing oils & such you can get from any drug/grocery store. If that doesn't work ask your doctor for a cortizone shot. Don't apply any scented lotions or glitters to your skin, make sure you use unscented/unfragranced lotions if any. I recommend using aveeno lotion as well.

no, use lamisil creme. hell, it is expensive about $17 a tube and after showering and drying off smear it on. no oil ever. dry dry dry. only lamisil (my doc was right -- there are cheaper tubes and salves with oil etc. but they didn't help). something to do with sweat, moisture and yeast and bacteria. docs don't even know exactly. but this worked for me. trying stayijg super dry. use baby wipes at work. do not use powders either. too gritty. good luck. wish there was something cheaper than lamisil that actually worked. why?

Have you been to a tanning bed as of late? It sounds so nasty, and it is, but I got SCABIES (yuck, yuck and double yuck( from a tanning place 2 years ago. 13 people in my town got it from there. Go directly to a dermatologist and do not pass go until they have given you a complete diagnosis

buy some calamine lotion, its in a pink bottle, it doesnt smell that great either. you probably have hives...nothings serious but if it keeps lasting even after the calamine lotion, you might want to go back to the doctor, b/c it should go away. but calamine lotion should make it go away after a day or so. i used to get hives all the time, its just like all the symptoms your saying, its just an allergic reaction to something you probably not aware your allergic to. good luck

Try using Cortizone cream. It works really good and it should make it go away.

Go to a dermatologist. It could be many things, and some require treatment.
