My wife and I have been doing Atkins for a little over a month, and to be honest, we are bored. We're tired of not being able to have ANY kind of bread, and constantly worrying about one or two extra carbs.
We've looked at the South Beach diet, and just like Atkins it is a carb-restrictive diet. There are a few differences, and that is where we are we are curious about switching.
Would switching from Atkins to South Beach all at once make us gain weight while we waited for the effects of South Beach to kick in?
If you have never been on either diet, or you aren't educated about low-card dieting, please don't criticize our diet choices. All we want to know if if SWITCHING from Atkins to South Beach is safe and isn't going to make us gain all our weight back.
Also, if anyone here has experience doing South Beach, we'd love to hear about your results! (Especially if you have done Atkins as well!)
