I believe so. I mean, you would never neglect the muscles in your body would you.

Some people believe facial exercises cause wrinkles, but they don't. What causes wrinkles is when your skin starts to loose elasticity and so any expressions you make, start to set in. To prove my point, think of the faces that young children make, you don't see them developing wrinkles do you. That's because they have good skin elasticity.

So it's important to look after both your skin and tone your facial muscles to keep your face firm and smooth.

It's all genetics really. I was told when I was 13 that I would wrinkle early and to always wear a moisterizer. I did and I still wrinkled very early, just like my mom did. It's your skins elasticity, not muscle condition.

Look at your parents. That is your best determination as to how you will wrinkle if you do nothing. Excercising facial muscles does nothing to help. Moisturizing and keeping some sort of sunscreen , SPF15, is what may help. That is it. Stay out of the sun without sunscreen. Excercise your body and mind, don't worry about your face:)
