Could be something you ate, or it could be a bout of stomach flu - it's the season!
Also, the dental work that you mentioned - there's a possibility that the work you have had done has let some infection into your body - this is NOT the dentists fault, it's quite natural. With that amount of work, it's probable.

Sip on fluids every 10-20 minutes (sip, don't gulp) to keep hydrated, especially if you have diaorrhea and/or vomiting.
After 18-24 hours, you should start feeling hungry again. Start eating slowly following the BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast) - mild, bland foods.

If you still have diaorrhea/vomiting after 24-48 hours, then see a doctor as it could be something more serious.

As for going to Wendy's and "kicking up a storm" - what exactly do you think that will do?

First of all, you should see a doctor to see if you have food poisoning. Without a medical determination of your condition, you have no hope for a cause of action. If you do, then contact your local health department so they can check it out. They can get access to the entire place, where you cannot. Only then will you be able to consider taking any action against them. Going over there and stirring up trouble is DEFINITELY not the answer!

No I even have by no ability experienced this at wendy's, yet kfc is a different case, i grow to be barfing and had a nasty case of a abdomen soreness, and...certainly no longer rather, no longer gonna bypass into factor with my warning signs yet I understand your discomfort of quickly nutrition poisoning. perchance that's purely wendy's itself, purely substitute your quickly nutrition place for next time, small burger joints are great in case you opt to ward off mainstream quickly nutrition eating places.

You could have gotten sick because someone didn't get the dishes clean at your house. Bacteria will grow on a plate/silver wear and cause an intestinal disturbance. Don't automatically assume it was Wendy's. You could have touched something that someone else did who had some fecal matter on their hand. There are many reasons for your gastro-intestinal problem.

sound like you go a 24 hour flu, food poisoing would make you have horrible stomach pains, the kind that bend you over. The food just gave your body something to throw up. I would drink ginger ale, and get on the brat diet, bread, rice, applesauce, tea, this will help out alot. DR ivan

Wow its amazing how so many people blame fast food companys for making them sick. You may have got sick from anything, it doesn't automatically mean its from wendys. First of all is your house clean? Do you wash your hands after using the bathroom? ( you have no idea how many people don't). I would first go see your doctor and find out exactly whats making you sick before running to wendys blaming them. Good luck to you.

before you go back to Wendy's to stir up trouble, i think you first need to focus on yourself, go see a doctor to make sure it is what it is, get some medication from the doctor & focus on getting well/better. You don't need that much added stress in your life while your sick. After you get better, depending on what the doctor says, you may be able to seek advice about filing a law suit or if you even have a chance to, seek advice from a lawyer.

GOOD LUCK! and hope you get better soon. Don't eat at Wendy's anymore

My family and I got food poisoning once at a Mexican restaurant. We called the health department in our town to report it. They noted the complaint and food poisoning case but told us that since we did not save the food or get stool samples, we did not have the physical proof to do anything more than just complain. Sucks, but you have no grounds to sue if you don't have the proof. Who's to say you don't have the flu? I'm not trying to defend them but there is little you can do except to report it to your town/county health department.

Drink fluids, get some Pepto Bismol. That will quiet things down, If you have Diarrhea, don't take Imodium because your system is doing that to rid your digestive tract of this bacteria. This is very common.

First, I would suggest going to the hospital, to find out weather you have been poisoned by food or if you don't have a case of viral gastroenteritis.

Second, I would find myself a lawyer, and let him/her do the dirty work. There could be court dates, law suits, and a whole slew of messy things they're better suited to deal with.

Feel better.
