I'm turning 25 this weekend and because I am turning 25, I will no longer be on my dad's insurance plan that he has with his work. My job's insurance policy doesn't kick in for several months. I have a pre-existing condition and most insurance companies require you to be on their plans for up to 6 months before they'll recognize my condition. The only problem is, my condition is acting up and by the time I go to get help from a doctor for it, I will be off my dad's plan so I am wondering if it would be likely to stay with the insurance agency under my own name so I wouldn't have to go through the waiting period?

You look at history of the past and you don't see a lot of lung cancer before the 1960's. People smoked even in the 1700 and 1800's.

In some ways, I think this deal about smoking is somewhat hyped up. What about other exposures that may cause lung cancer?

Many of you may disagree. However, I think the media's "statistics" about things are sometimes biased rather than objective. How do we know that 80's of lung cancer deaths are contributed to smoking?
Okay- Smoking how much? 5 packs a day. 10 cigarettes a day (some are now saying smoking in moderation isn't bad for your health) I agree
Exposure to other chemicals? Working in a deasel factory? Putting asbestos on roofs? Genes? Eating very unhealthy?

It some ways it is like saying that a hamburger causes heart disease. Okay- eating a hamburger with 3000 other calories that day? along with sugar and hydroginated oils?

Or eating one hamburger a day with a healthy diet?

The media just gives their biased facts

My cousins and I noticed that when wearing a bikini one of us has an obviously large or wide vagina wall (i think this is what it's called, the one with the pubic hair - sorry and excuse me). Some of them teases her because of this. But the other half of us, including me, believes that it might be because she's been fat her whole life. She cried to me once and asked me if it is a bad thing. I didn't know what to say. Do you think when she gets slim and fit, it would be in normal size or shape?

I have two perfectly symmetrical rings on my forearms arms, one on each. I've had them ever since I was a child, but since then I have never recieved a thorough explanation for what they are. I'd love to know and if anybody even has the slightest idea as to what they could be, I would really appreciate your input.

Okay, this just isn't something I can call my mom about so I'll ask a bunch of strangers ....

Last night I was wrestling with my cousin and he started doing the munching thing on my belly like when we were kids and it grossed me out so I run to the bathroom to wash his nasty saliva off my belly/ belly button. It is then that I discovered I have something weird in my belly button. It feels very stiff, like...string.

Now, I had what is called a "TRAM" flap about 5 years ago--this created a new abdomen for me and of course a brand spankin' new belly button. I tried hydrogen peroxide, alcohol and then the tweezers but frankly it's very painful.

I am wondering....is it a stitch from the surgery, even now? Is it perhaps dried intestines LOL (I hope not!), or some wild *** lint?
my belly button because it is very sensitive to touch, and though I tried using the tweezer it was sending lightening bolts of pain throughout my abdominal region. Any suggestions what this is and how to remove?
