first start by resting the abs every other day, they need time to repair themselves so that you can see a difference. the fat tissue around your abs is telling you that your diet is off somewhere. make sure your eating the proper foods. remember working out will make your muscles grow but eating right will make them show.

100 situps are good but how fast are you doing them? Make sure you are going really slow up and more importantly hold yourself when you're going down. That's what most people forget. When they get to the top they just let go and fall back down. Don't do that. You're wasting half of your workout. If you do it the way that I explained, you'll probably only be able to do 50. Also, make sure that you keep a distance between your chin and your chest. I learn to pretend there is an orange sitting on my neck. If you squish this orange, you make it harder for yourself to breath and it's not good for your neck allignment. hope this helps. :)

Hello,

Keep up the good ab exercises...they'll pay off in muscle tone. As for the "squishy" part, you'll need to focus on trying to burn more calories than you eat. Those extra calories get converted to fat...and that fat usually goes to the gut for guys and to the hips for the women. Keep up the hard work...you can do it!

i once read somewhere that you could do 1000000000 of sits up and NEVER see your abs...and have the BEST abs ever....you just simply need to involve some cardio into your workout. cardio helps with the fat while crunches and what not are toning the muscle.
