I want to build up a bit of strength in my arms and around that area.i am thinking about doing push ups.anyone have any other good simple exercises that would maybe help aswell/instead.i dont want to do anything strenuous.just to build up a bit of strength gradually.also for push ups how many/how long is a good pace to start with and also how often.thanks everyone

i need a remedy soon as my psoriasis is out of control at the moment, dont really know what to do. I dont want any of these creams(so called miracle) that i have spend in total in the last 6 monts £3000 , yes am i mad or what , but i have learned my lesson, i only want psoriasis sufferers to answer this painful question, any ideas , i have tried everything from the GP and nothing works, what has worked for you as psoriasis sufferer, wouls love your genuine answer?

I saw an obgyn for the first time today. I told her that I have itching in my vaginal area every once and a while and she told me that it could be due to the dryness of the cold weather, or a yeast infection. However, when she examined me she said that I could possibly have herpes so she prescribed a weeks worth of Valtrex, gave me two sample tablets, and told me to get my Bloodwork done to test for herpes. Then she told me to come back in two to three weeks (I made an appointment for March 1).

However, after I got home I was wondering why she gave me the medication before having the blood test. Should I wait for the blood test results before taking the medication??

I ask this because I've never been sexually active before my current boyfriend, he claims that he doesn't have herpes, we always use condoms, and I think that I had this itching before I was with him.

Long story short: I was on an extremely high dose of 3 different steroids about 20 days ago. Since then I've had hormonal problems to say the least, one of which is mild acne. I had a bump on the side of my nose, which I thought was a pimple, so I squeezed it. A small amount of pus did come out, but the next morning (and each sucessive morning thereafter) it has been worse, more swollen, and extremely sore. It feels hard (a lump the size of a pea), and then "squishy" for about a 1 inch diameter around it. It's red and extremely sore. Also, that side of my nose is stuffy and I have an awful headache, as well as a low fever and a sore throat. That being said, I get CHRONIC sinus infections and I don't know if all these symtoms are just coinciding with a weird pimply-thing. Could a severe sinus infection cause this type of infection in your skin too? Or does it sound like staph? I'm going to the doctors later today but it's really painful and I'd appreciate any help! THANKS!

My frnd loves one boy .Both of them r the same engineering col. boy is 2 yrs senior to the girl. The isn't good bcoz he only wants a physical satisfaction from girls & only for that he is playing the "love" game with my friend. My arms always seem to be permenently itchy, I dont have any visable rashes as such, but if I rub my hand over a small area on the soft skin next to my elbow it is very bumpy and the skin feels dry, further down my arm there are larger bumps under the skin which are VERY itchy and I scratch then till they are sore,I have loads of scars on my arms which are very embarrassing , as these spots start to get better they get extremely itchy again and I am permenenty scratching my arms, does anyone know what is the cause, they are only on my arms..I have tried loads of creams and haven't changed any washing powders

I know it sounds strange, but let me explain. It was dark and cold last night *obviously* and as I was stood looking out of my bedroom window, I had the strangest feeling. My mind went a bit blank, and all I could think about was how pointless my life is. I realised how short my life is compared to the expanse of time. I felt really close to all beings. I felt strange for a while, then I sort of went back to normal. what happened to me? Am i going crazy? somebody please try to explain it. thanks a lot :)

since birth, I have had, what I thought was ptosis. It wasn't very noticeable at first, but it has gotten worse. I went to an eye specialist when I was 6(twelve years ago) and he diagnosed me with ptosis, of course. Upon going to a cosmetic surgeon last month, he informed me that I didn't have ptosis, but infact, had a sunken eye. I was told that a surgery involving a spacer behind my eye would be the only real fix. My question is, is this dangerous? I've heard that some people weren't able to close their eye after this surgery! I've heard quite a few horror stories. Has anyone had this surgery? is it worth it? Would a cosmetic surgery be better? Sorry to drudge on, but I'm quite scared. Thank you.
