I scribe for a 15 year old boy (4th year) in a class at school and he has unreadible writing. (I'm 17 - an older pupil - 6th year). He is quite a trouble maker, very lively, in quite a rebellious group and always trying to get the teachers attention. He smokes and often plays with lighters in class. His dad left when he was young and I don't think (from what the boy said) that the dad shows much interest in him, even though the dad moved up to the same town from 300 miles away at the end of last year. He mentioned suicide in his ramblings and even though when I questioned him on it he denied being serious, I think he is quite lost in having a purpose/aim in life. I really want to help him find some aim in life, I was hoping to get him involved with a bit of the school gardening as I'm on the environmental committee but I don't know what else I can do. I don't want him to laugh at me or this to backfire. I think he will probably be leaving school at the end of this year, like me.

I have noticed over the past 10 years I have developed many of problems that could be diagnosed as dyslexia in a child. Can dyslexia develope in adults or get worse in an adult? I suspect that I may have had it all my life but awareness has icreased. I also have MS has anyone heard of any association with MS and dyslexia symptoms.

I am thinking about getting mirena, it has been the best BC from everything I've read. I haven't gone to the doctor yet to ask them any of my questions, just looking to get some more personal experience answers. I haven't seen anything that has answered this question, so any answers would be appreciated.

I don't shave my mustache and beard. I pluck it with twissers one at a time. It hurts a little but I'm used to it.

Does it really cause blindness or any eye problem?

OR... side effects?

The elyptic scalator where i trained for the last weeks got broken, and i don´t know how long it will take for it to get fixed, but i don't want to lose my rhythm. I thought about jogging, but i find it kind of monotonous/boring, when i trained on the scalator at least i could listen to music or turn on the tv (i don't have a walkman or phones to take with me). Any suggestions on what else can i do?

If a person with hepatitis b undergoes normal blood test for a physical exam, can the results reveal that he is sick? I mean, can he be exposed to be a carrier of the virus? or that under normal blood test, no exposure will be done. Unless of coursethe person subjects himself to liver blood tests.
-Thank you.

I just got my braces on and when I bite down at night to sleep, I can feel my one top tooth hiting one of the lower bracket; some pain. It's 5 am right now and I can't seem to sleep because of this. I'm afraid if I bite down anymore, the bracket will fall off. I was wondering if there is any thing I can do to keep this from happening. Maybe there's a mouth guard I can wear to sleep. Any suggestions?

I started taking Chromium supplements about 2 months ago.
The form is 'chromium Picolinate' 200 micro grammes per tablet.
I started with 1 tablet per meal and am now up to 3 tablets per meal.
The results are not conclusive.
Is is safe to up the doseage to 4 per meal to see if there is a beneficial result on the lowering of Blood Sugar levels ?

Has anyone had any experience with Chromium supplements, that might help Diabetics control their Blood Sugar levels ?

Thank you for any suggestions
Naresh

i've been using the computer for 7 years and im trying to quit(have been using the computer for like 10 minutes a day on average for the past 2 weeks, since my computer is down and i can only access it in the library)

2 questions...

1) the tissue parts below my eye(i think its the eye ring area), is not puffy like wat most people suffer from, but instead its sunken in, and my eyeballs i feel, have shrunk a bit in size. what can i do to regrow that area? and possibly my eyeballs can grow back to the original size? massage that area, certain foods/fruits or ?

2) that same area is also very black, probably due to the fact that i have sinus problems, such that if i stay up for a night by just playing cards, that area immediately DARKENS alot. i've tried resting for the past 1 week or so but the dark reduces very slowly, yet it comes out easily if i just sleep a little later. any cure?

thanks in advance

My doc didn't really give me a time-scale - he just said i'd know when it was sorted. But to be pretty honest myy bodies rubbish anyways so i won't know lol so i'd appreciate it if you guys could give me a rough timescale. cheers. sam x
