I work with all three types of surgeons. A urologist tends to deal with your water works, although they do occassionally do hernia repairs. A gastroenterologist tends to focus more on your digestive tract, and the ones I work with don't carry out hernia repairs. I personally would choose a general surgeon or a colorectal surgeon, and they tend to be the surgeons that carry out the most of these proceedures.

General surgeon. They call it as tailor's job. It is just cutting and stitching with a nylon patch.
