The elyptic scalator where i trained for the last weeks got broken, and i don´t know how long it will take for it to get fixed, but i don't want to lose my rhythm. I thought about jogging, but i find it kind of monotonous/boring, when i trained on the scalator at least i could listen to music or turn on the tv (i don't have a walkman or phones to take with me). Any suggestions on what else can i do?

Do you have a bicycle? If you do not want to go outdoors a magtrainer or wind trainer is pretty cheap if you can pick one up second hand. It turns a normal bike into a stationery one so you can use infront of the TV or where ever you like. Another option, and cheaper again is skipping, or you could create youself a mini circuit at home. Include lunges, squats, burpees etc. If you have a bench you could include toe taps, tricep dips, pushups, hip flexors and anything else you can think of. Alternate your workout during the circuit between upper and lower body so one muscle group is restng while the other is working. Do one set of each exercise then repeat until you have completed 3 circuits. Move quickly with little or no rests and you will get your heart rate going as well as building strength.

Try to provide us with some info here. What is an elyptic scalator? I would assume it is some sort of running machine. Forget the headphones and try just going for a jog, you do not have to be listening to music 100% while you do this, in fact that may be ruining a good workout session. Try listening to your heart, the throb of the muscle pumping blood to the muscles. Set your rhythm to that and as you jog pay attention to increases or decreases in the rhythm of the heart. Speed up and see how that sounds, slowly jog uphill and listen again, your heart sets the rhythm not some 50 cent tune. You are in for a real experience, listening to your own body make its own symphony. Enjoy, something you may not have heard for a long time and it comes in full stereo that really makes you think you are sitting right there next to the drummer, the base, the piano, it is so real!

Find a jogging route with a good hill or two. Jogging is most always going to be boring. Just think of a song in your head and go from there. If not, then swimming is a good cardio workout, but at this time of year I'd suggest an indoor pool.
