If a person with hepatitis b undergoes normal blood test for a physical exam, can the results reveal that he is sick? I mean, can he be exposed to be a carrier of the virus? or that under normal blood test, no exposure will be done. Unless of coursethe person subjects himself to liver blood tests.
-Thank you.

If you're being tested for Hepatitis B, then YES, whether you're a carrier or not.
If you're testing for Haemoglobin levels, then obviously no...
If I were you, you should get treated for Hep B. Its treatable, and very dangerous if left in your body undealth with

For routine physicals only a hemogram is done in the office, at least in our office and no it does not check for hepatitis. Those test for Hep A & B or C have to be sent off. We do the hemogram though and if any of the values are way off then more intense testing is sent off to a lab. If you do have hepatitis you should inform your doctors you see for how can they provide proper treatments for other things for you if they don't know what medicines you have to take for the hepatitis? and how would they know when you get in an emergency situation the true picture of your health. This all is kept confidential so be honest with your doctor.

Specific tests for Hepatitis B are extremely sensitive at detecting antibodies or virus within weeks of exposure. Routine tests are likely to pick up active liver disease.

no-but elevated liver enzymes could indicate a possible issue with the liver, however, where hcv is concerned, sometimes liver enzymes are not elevated, so it is always best to get actual testing for specific diseases.

good luck
