A hailine fracture near tyhe head of a bone is quite serious from the point of view of continuing with you chosen sport.
The fracture healing time is dependent on you age your health and cacium levels in the body. Generally f]ull reossification can occure within 3 months.

The risk for you is the proximity of the fracture to the head of the bone ulna. If you happen to rebreak this bone it may have to be opened and pinned and that is a 4-6 month stint in a cast.Pins in the bone are expensive operations and at a later stage in life can result in osteo arthritis.

Perhaps uou might want to reconsider your sporting interests?

most fractures take about four to six weeks. I had fractures and broken bones from all the sports I've play over the years. What I know Is that after the cast comes off. You still need more time to get the strength back. That may take a while depending on may factors.

i've done a hairline fracture on my ulna bone and in my foot and they both took 6 weeks. Where you broke yours, I did simple fracture and mine took 4 1/2 weeks to heal. It really depends on your body. But remember, don't stick anything in your cast to itch yourself! You can cause the skin to break open and have an infection. Good luck and don't break any more bones :)

Depends on the individual's healing time, but average is six weeks - I'm quick - I was fine in four (once I knew it was broken - I carried on training for three months with it broken and kept rebreaking it, apparantly - don't do that, it's silly). Eight weeks is not uncommon, but if it still hurts after that, I'd go back and get a progress check if they haven't already given you one.

Depending on where it is, it could take a few weeks to a month.
