After I took my braces off about a year ago, I was told to wear my retainers 24/7. However, I got frustrated with the slurring and decided to only wear it at night. Well after a year, my orthodontist told me I MUST wear it 24/7 and now I've noticed significant movement (on top row). She also tighted my retainers and told me to wear it for another 6 mos until I see her again. Will wearing my retainers (top row) actually move my teeth back into place? Or will I have to get braces again? Any other alternative?

My throat is very dry and raw. I can only whisper. Water and other liquids hurt it. I can't swollow any liquids. I can eat food though. My mother looked at my throat and said it doesn't really look red or anything. I haven't yelled or sung or done anything to over use my voice. I'm coughing up something clear that kinda looks like saliva. It could be that or something else. I've tried honey, tea and soup. My doctors office isn't open tommorow and I don't know what to do! I'm not running a fever and besides a headache and throat aching im okay.

In the areas surrounding the neck, is there a specific area where there is a large number of nerve endings or perhaps an artery where if one bits hard enough and ruptures the veins, one can kill someone simply by biting down? Please refer to 24 Season 6 Episode 1 where Jack Bauer killed a terrorist by biting down in an area below the left side of his neck if you are not clear on my question.

I still am very depressed and want to go to sleep and not wake up. I want to cry all the time and I only do things around the house that I have to. im 15 and i have these horrible cramps, i take ibprofin for them and after 15 minutes, after taking the pill it stops, but no one else seems tp have pain like i do with my period. i also get sweaty like a hot flash, and feel like im gonna puke. and my groins hurt. it's os weird, my lower back is always sore too? anyone know whats wrong with me? thanks. :)
