Stay away from caffeine, including coffees, chocolate, and soft drinks, and back off of high sugar content foods. Increase eating dark green leafy veggies, just cram them into your lunch meat sandwich or add them to iceberg lettuce in salads. Yes, you can have some sugar, but only one or two small servings a day. Wash your face in mild soap, or Noxema. Make a hot compress, by soaking a wash cloth in hot tap water, wring it out and gently press the hot cloth onto your face, repeating this 2-3 times, this opens pores, and pulls oil and dirt out of your skin. Then to kill bacteria, try using Bactine, instead of an astringent. Bactine is cheaper, and kills germs and bacteria. Some people use toothpaste dabs right on the acne breakouts and this does seem to work well. Ordinary, chalky white Crest, or Colgate will do. Otherwise, just use the Bactine on pimples and a good acne medication. Keep hair clean to prevent oil build up in scalp and around edges of your face. If after a couple weeks, there is no noticeable improvement, go see your doctor.

Sometimes, for me, not using any type of special soaps on my face helps it clear up.

Sometimes, the soaps are what is actually causing my break outs.

Just a thought...

Best thing is to get on Accutane. You need to have a dermatologist prescribe this for you. Nothing else will really work.

wash your face more often and quit eating greasy foods...also maybe you should excercise to where you sweat alot, sweating helps clean out your skin pores, just make sure you wash your self after the sweat dries.
