Counseling is a way of talking through your problems and helping you to find out how to best handle them. Being extremely open and honest is a way to get to the bottom of the real basic problems you are going through. Often saying things aloud helps us to realize and deal better with our stresses. Don't hold anything inside. Relax and don't be afraid to talk with your counselor. They are bound by confidentiality.

Be honest! that's the most important mart of any counselling session. I'm sorry, I wish I had more to tell you to help you out, but that's pretty much the most important thing to remember.

Be honest and open, with what is on your mind. At first it seems like "going back", instead of getting better. It took time to get you help, it will take time to "let go". You need to build faith in yourself, and give the therapist, time to give you some coping skills, to live by. Never give up on yourself, someone you know, loves you.

Keep an open mind -
If your counselor gives you "homework" be sure to DO IT!
Be sure to tell your counselor what you are feeling so they can give you tips. They deal with this every day and need to know how you are feeling so they are able to help you!
