My boyfriend has been feeling sluggish lately, so he went in and found out he has mono. I have a slightly scratchy throat, I had a bad headache the other day, and just plain out haven't been feeling well. What do you think I should do?

I mean back in the days of manic-depression there were far and few between. you didnt hear about it all the time. My father was manic-depressive all the way back in the 50's or 60's my sister was diagnosed in the 70's. I have been diagnosed in 2002 but i knew and my family knew i had it long before. I have been told by professionals that it takes a while to diagnose bipolar disorder because it is soo similar to alot of other disorders. so my question is do you think because of all the new drugs the companies are pushing dr's now adays that more people are being labeled bipolar then they really are? i mean they might have symptoms of bipolar but not full on could be something else. Would like opinions .

Hi people!

I really hope that this year my skin gets back to how it used to be - which was clear!

I feel really bad at the moment and I am sick of my adult acne that suddenly appeared since summer. And just before xmas, my face was red raw, sore and itchy. The doc said I had a infection on my face and gave me four strong anti-biotics for six days. Things calmed down after the last day of taking them but two days later it came back - so I rang up for a repeat perscription and I am back on them for another six days again.

Although all the redness hasnt gone, but it has clamed down. I am wondering what causes facial infections? I use a gentle soap on my skin and I dont use make-up. Has anyone has any ideas?

I have a sharp pain that comes and goes behind my right eye, and sometimes the left, occasionally right behind my forehead. It will be a very sharp pain, last for about 20 seconds, then go away for like 5 seconds, this will go on for about 2 minutes, every few days. I used to have 20/20 vision until a few months ago. Now my right eye at distance of 15 feet, I can't read what I have had no problem with before. I am having short term memory loss and irrational mood swings. I will be extremely depressed for 2-3 days then fine for a few weeks. Sometimes I will be working on a computer (I am a computer tech) and I will just stop talking/working and stare at the screen totally forgetting what I was doing. It can take me 20-30 seconds before I can even move or think about what I was just doing. Then I have to try to retrace my steps to get where I left off. I also have a hard time sleeping, I can't stop thinking to go to sleep. When I do sleep I have bizarre and usually violent dream

I went to the dentist six months ago and was told that everything looked absolutely perfect. I brush two times a day and don't really floss regularly. Last month, I went back to the same office (different dentist) and was told that I had about twenty cavities. They said that every single one of them were in between my teeth and due to the fact that I don't floss as often as I should. Is this possible for me to develop so many cavities so quickly or should I get a second opinion?
