I have a sharp pain that comes and goes behind my right eye, and sometimes the left, occasionally right behind my forehead. It will be a very sharp pain, last for about 20 seconds, then go away for like 5 seconds, this will go on for about 2 minutes, every few days. I used to have 20/20 vision until a few months ago. Now my right eye at distance of 15 feet, I can't read what I have had no problem with before. I am having short term memory loss and irrational mood swings. I will be extremely depressed for 2-3 days then fine for a few weeks. Sometimes I will be working on a computer (I am a computer tech) and I will just stop talking/working and stare at the screen totally forgetting what I was doing. It can take me 20-30 seconds before I can even move or think about what I was just doing. Then I have to try to retrace my steps to get where I left off. I also have a hard time sleeping, I can't stop thinking to go to sleep. When I do sleep I have bizarre and usually violent dream

I have to agree with the majority here and think you should see your doctor ASAP. Like call first thing tomorrow morning. If you insurance allows it, and you don't need a referral from your physician first, make one with a good neurologist, because that is who your doctor is going to refer you to anyway. You will be saving better time that way, and it will be a little faster finding your diagnosis. Write down all of your symptoms, and don't leave out anything before going. Good luck to you. Love and Prayers!

I had a major skipping habit in HS. I used to go to my friend's house before school, hotbox in the bathroom and then decide if we felt like going. Sometimes we stayed in and sometimes we showed up fried. If we showed up, we'd go smoke up again at lunch time. One time, I screwed up so big while skipping, I was too scared to face my parents for a week. Just took off couch surfing. I'm surprised I actually went back. They should have just murdered me. Incredibly, I graduated and completely cleaned up my act. Still embarrassed by the amount of skipping I did and the crap I got up to.

I would seek the help of a Neuroligist as they can help you better and run some tests to see what's going on. Neuroligist can also do an mri of the brain to see what's going on and why your getting blurred vision.

See a neurologist as soon as possible, he'll send you for an MRI and or a CAT SCAN. both are great to see what is going on ...it doesn't necessarily mean it's something bad but there may be something that can be easily treated.....so call and make appt. good luck wish you well, and hope it's nothing serious.

Go to a good headache clinic. It has elements of cluster headache, but not the memory loss isn't.
Get a good doctor right away! Don't wait until you've lost too much of yourself!
Here's a headache site with lots of info including clinics and doctors:

Good luck!

Make an appt. with your dr. as soon as possible. No one except a medical expert and doing tests can tell you what it is.
