I had a DVT(deep vein thrombosis) and it DOES feel like a muscle cramp, but at the site of the clot after about 3 days, I developed a lump.(kinda swelled out like a baseball under the skin). You may have not just strained something, you may have torn something. An MRI should define it for you. ALSO if you are continuing to work out without having properly rested the injured part, it will continure to hurt till it gets proper rest and healing time. if it persists after proper rest and or healing time i would consult a physician ASAP. Mine broke loose and went to one of my lungs and almost killed me. You could also get it checked anyway just to be sure if something IS torn or what. If Dr. suspects a clot they will do what is known as a DOPPLER. It shows the blood flow to whatever part they are looking at. It is like an ultrasound and is painless.

a blood clot (DVT-deep vein thrombosis) has pain, obvious redness, and a lot of swelling. if in doubt, go see your physician and they can do an ultrasound to confirm it. A pulled muscle hurts almost as bad as a minor fracture. It can take up to 3 months to heal, especially if the muscle is under constant use. Tingling is related to nerve damage which can result from the swelling of the pulled muscle. You need time to heal that. Unfortunately its going to hurt a lot and you'll get spasm. Advil, ibuprofen are better meds to take to decrease inflammation and help with pain. Cool compresses are good too. and to not exert the area. DVTs usually swell up the entire area to the point the area is shiny, very hot and red and hurts aweful. If its that bad, please see your healthcare provider. A pulled muscle hurts almost as much--its soft tissue damage and takes a long time to heal but there's no shiny skin, only some inflammation with pain.

i discover it ridiculous how lots human beings react whilst a woman does not shave her legs. whilst i replaced into 29 I in simple terms approximately died from a ruptured appendix. i replaced into ill for a protracted time and had a brilliant therapeutic incision on my abdomen (difficult to pass or do something extremely). i did no longer shave my legs (and that they are furry) for a pair of three hundred and sixty 5 days or a splash greater. I lived in Florida on the time so I wore shorts distinctive the three hundred and sixty 5 days. The reactions I have been given have been astonishing. i think of i ought to have crushed my toddlers and human beings could have reacted much less (i could in no way beat my toddlers, in simple terms making a factor...). this is barely hair! I do shave yet no longer as usually as maximum. i'm happy with it.
