the bit is the natural tendency for your upper teeth and lower teeth to clinch together when biting on food. When the bite is uneven, there is a lot more wear and tear on the teeth, therefore, they need a lot more work in the future. The upper teeth should come over the lower teeth when biting, thus not wearing down on the lower teeth.
Therefore, when you are looking to get your bite fixed, the surgeon will fix your bite to conform to what i talked about above.

It's aligning your top and bottom teeth so that your "bite" is evenly distributed on the teeth. Some people have an "over-bite" (buck teeth) and others have an "under-bite" where the bottom teeth overlap the top teeth.

When you bite into something... your teeth/jaw are off center... for example... you have an overbite... where your top teeth come out too far when you bite. it is corrected with braces or retainers.

In NZ, it means get drunk as in: virtually legless, or 'smash the c**t's head in' as in: beat the pulp out of a guy they're pee'd off with. In sexually oriented countries, it means 'have sex'.

I would assume it means overbite where your top teeth come out farther than your bottom teeth or underbite where the bottom come out farther than your top.
