Ive had braces for 6 years and im getting them off tomarrow at 8:45 AM, I'm wondering how long it will take them to get my braces off and put in a permanant retainer on my bottom teeth?

I am aware of my health deteriorating within the past two months. I've moved my family from west to east coast, not a very satisfying marriage situation, and no work for me. Last night, I was doing my usual hour-long walk and felt an ache in my left hand. After I was finished, the back of my hand had a hematoma that spread like a bad blood draw. What is going on with my body? I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and suspect maybe Lupus. I only feel "good" when I'm drinking wine, which I do nightly, sometimes a bottle of good red. I feel crappy. What in the world would make my hand bleed under the skin? I wonder if my liver is suffering from stress. I didn't hit my hand on anything. Thanks for listening. I'm feeling way down. Any words of wisdom, knowledge, advice and encouragement I would so gratefully appreciate. I am sad and lonely.

So i just got my braces after two and a half years, but there is a tiny gap in between my bottom front teeth. My finger nail can go in the gap and thats basically the size of it. But the problem is the way those two teeth are shaped. As you get to the bottom of the tooth it seems to get narrower, which makes the gap look worse like by the gums. The ortho put the perminant retainer on already but i go in in a couple of weeks. What can i do? i dont want to have braces on again im a junior in high school. Should i get them on again? : ( I heard i can get it filled but it won't look real. Any help would be great!

O and people say they cant really see it until i point it out but i dont feel comfortable with it. Like the other day i was talking to someone face to face and they asked if i have something stuck in my tooth. Its the darn gap it looks like a black thing is in btween my teeth.

I have to get 2 teeth pulled out from my top and possibly 2 more from the bottom to get braces and I'M SOOOOO PERTRIFIED!!! I don't wanna endure that pain. Can someone please explain to me both this procedure and also the procedure of getting braces? I need reallllllll and reallllllllllllly gooooood info!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

Hello-
I am curious about something. I am a fairly healthy 27 year old who has trouble sleeping. I've had insomina for years and every doctor that I go to seems to think sleeping pills are horrible & dangerous. I have gotten them to let me try Ambien, Lunesta, & Sonata. (Not at the same time! LOL) They give me a few at a time...which to me seems stupid. I've read of people taking drgs like these for years to get relief. I'm not looking to get addicted to anything, I just need some relief from fatigue. What can I say to get them to give me a regular prescription for a sleeping aid? OTC pills do nothing but make me drowsy the next day. Thanks!

Not sure how common this is..I found 5 little pea size lumps under the skin on my underarm and about 4 days later there was one that had puss coming out of the skin and it was all red around it. then 2 days later i found 2 under my other armpit.I went to the doctors and they put me on an antibiotic. Is this something I will have all my life now? Like little hard very painfull bumps? where else will they spread to?

I have to wash my hands a lot at work, and then they get very dry and get lots of papercuts on them. Even most lotion I tried doesn't help that much. What do you do to keep your hands from getting so dry? Is there anything I can do to heal those little papercuts fast?

I was told in the consultation that my insurance can only cover 80% of my removal of my 4 wisdoms teeth. It will be $1,500 to remove my wisdoms and the insurance can only cover $1,200 according to them, the surgeon. And the rest $300 i have to pay.
I wanted to know if this is true with other surgeons if i was to go to other places.
Insurance doesnt cover the whole %100??
Is this true??

He's had a few 'slip-ups', and feels incredibly guilty about lying to me about it. I want to help him get over his pot addiction, but I'm not sure what to do as I haven't been faced with drug addiction before. I have heard from many people, the most part of your growing is during your sleep. I have also heard it's not true. I am 14 years old, going to turn 15 in march, and i'm 5'0'. I weigh 93, so i'm not fat, i'm just short. I want to know whether or not to increase the amount of sleep or not.
