I usually go 30 minutes to an hour at a varying pace of 3-6 miles per hour,gradually going faster. I know muscle will develop,but after they do,will the legs begin to slim?

You're legs won't get bulky from running alone, they'll be more defined as you build/tone muscle and burn fat.
Sounds like a good plan to me.

yes most long distance runners develop long lean muscles in their legs, so they will look slimmer
