The point about magnesium is good. Generally good nutrition helps the most. Staying healthy too. Some diseases can shut down your pituitary gland and stop your growth. Getting enough calcium (important for bone growth) is good advice and why everybody is pushing milk.

Anything else you might do is too extreme and not likely to have much effect.

I didn't have my growth spurt until I was 16. Have you had yours yet? It's possible it could still happen if it hasn't. It's a gain of 3-6 inches in a year's time often. If it has already happened, it's true that you will continue to get taller for another 3-4 years, but maybe only an inch or so more.

And the perspective that 5'7" or 5'8" isn't a problem is relatively accurate. There are almost as many problems for tall people as short people. Tall people can't fit in cars or on public transportation easily, and hit their heads more often. Short people may have trouble seeing over crowds and have other problems. You're in the normal range, so don't worry yet.

genetics performs an major function pal,yet I 'd say you may have some 2-4 inches in case you try out what I say.i'm 5"11.5 and that specially coz I play Rugby for some years now.basically attempt to do the follwoing fo the subsequent 4 years each and each day: a million.Do countless leap ropes. 2.Drink countless protein shakes or protein bars. 3.Do swimming(atleast 4 circumstances a week if conceivable less than a superb instructor) 4.if you're overweight and ur BMI has rocketed then this swimming can help you you very much regardless of the indisputable fact that it really is going to be clubbed with some aerobics or cardios. 5.purchase a cycle, and journey on your cycle to all the interior sight places.basically advance the seat such that you somewhat in a position to the contact the pedals at the same time as its on the bottom maximum section.yet confirm you've administration.also be chance-free.basically have solid brakes and administration all the circumstances. 6.if conceivable, connect a basket ball crew or basically prepare it.(some would say that you're 18 and can't improve.do exactly not supply your ears to them.if you're concentrated you'll benefit it. yet you need to be dedicated and placed one hundred% committment.

Your genetic background determines your adult height. How tall is your father? His brothers? Your mother's brothers? Her father?
How old were they when they reached adult height?

If all the men in your immediate family are between five-seven and five-ten, then you'll be grow to be somewhere in that range.

Remember, boys often don't get their full adult height until they are TWENTY. You may have three more years of growing to do.

You just might be a late bloomer. Not to worry.

By the way, there is no "decent height" for a man. You are who you are, and as long as you live a good clean life, live by society's standards, obey the law, show kindness when others are not, then you are a decent male.

Men grow until 21 years of age.. But the reality is look at the height of your father.. you will be around his height or a bit taller.

Just spend time making your self big and tall in your character, your achievments... But stay humble and be cute!

That is what women want! It is not the height and if that is what some women want... trust me... that is only some.. not all!

Just be happy with what God gave you!

God Bless You

Not everybody reaches their full potential height by 17. Some take a little longer. So don't worry about it right now. Worry about your grades in school and how you're going to get to college like Shaq.

Well getting enough magnesium is important for growth. A deffeciency can cause short stature but honestly i'd assume it's just genetic.
