Hey john, listen up, don't be nervous after 6 years of braces u c an endure it. Usually its no more than an hour, they have to take all the brackets out with a little clamp. Then they have to polish off all the cement that was used to glue them to your teeth, and finally cleaning your teeth. Congratulations, and take care of your teeth ...

Actually, my friend was just telling me about this a few minutes ago. She's getting hers off in a couple weeks. She says that the appointment will take 2 1/2 hours. I don't know how she knows that...because she obviously hasn't done it yet. But maybe she asked the orthodontist.

Enjoy having your teeth back! :]

depending on how many patients the orthodontists working with I'd say a little more than an hour or so.
