I have heard from many people, the most part of your growing is during your sleep. I have also heard it's not true. I am 14 years old, going to turn 15 in march, and i'm 5'0'. I weigh 93, so i'm not fat, i'm just short. I want to know whether or not to increase the amount of sleep or not. ( I am not calcium deprived either, i drink atleast 2 glasses of milk a day, and i get about 7-8 hours of sleep a night) PLEASE HELP,

hey, i'm 15.5 and i'm only 5'1" (100 pounds if it matters) and i know some 4'7" guys who weigh 80 pounds, they too are 15, and i'm not sure if this helps either, but my sister is 18, and she's 5'2"

some people are short. thats how it is. It is true that you grow more in your sleep, (if you want to get scientific, it has something to do with less gravitational strain)

However, i also know some girls who are 15 and are like 4'6", I also know some 6th graders who are like 5 inches taller than me. If your parents are both like 5'5", don't expect much, and if they're taller, well either way, it doesn't matter. i get like 6 hours asleep, but w/e i'm short, but i don't think it matters at all,

If you sleep 24/7 you will not grow to be that much taller than you will with 7-8 hours of sleep, and anyways, threr's nothing wrong with being short, my girlfriend's taller than me, my ex is 8" taller, and i'm the shortest out of all my friends, so don't worry
