A UTI is a bacterial infection & can have many causes.
From not wiping correctly, soaps, holding your urine & sex.
You need to go see your doc & get a prescription antibiotics for the infection to clear it up.
Drink plenty of fluids. Drinking plenty of water dilutes your urine and may help flush out bacteria. Avoid coffee, alcohol, and soft drinks containing citrus juices and caffeine until your infection has cleared. They can irritate your bladder and tend to aggravate your frequent or urgent need to urinate.
Use a heating pad. Sometimes a heating pad placed over the abdomen can help minimize feelings of bladder pressure or pain.

You can get UTI by getting fecal matter near or in your vagina if you don't wipe correctly. You can also get it from unprotected sex. I'm sure there are more ways to get it. These two I'm aware of. I would suggest seeing a doctor if you truly think you have it. You need an antibiotic for this. I hope this helps!

I'm a nurse. It's not a std if that's what you're asking. A person can get this from bubble bath products, not wiping properly when using the toilet, or something like that. You need an antibiotic to get rid of it, see a doctor. You can also drink plenty of cranberry juice, and yogurt it helps.

most of the time you dont start getting those until you are sexually active. you need to pee right after having sex no later than 30 mins afterwards. you can also get one if you get a yeast infection. its usually a burning sensation when you pee. i got my first one and didn't even know i had it.

By not emptying your bladder enough, by not drinking enough water, or from having too much sex in a short period of time. (your partner can get it too, but he usually can't give you one.)
Try drinking cranberry juice, pomogranat juice, orange juice and lots of wanter..then see the Dr for some meds...you only have to take them 10 days and it'll be gone. to keep them gone...if your bladder starts to hurt, drink cranberry juice. Keep your body hydrated..water, water, gatorade, water...you get the idea.

Many things can cause them. Holding your urine too long, not cleaning well enough or often enough, using sex toys that are not cleaned properly, or anything going into your vagina after it has been around or in your anus.
