It's hard to admit at this point, but I weigh 430 pounds. Today I started another weight loss plan, since my others haven't been successful. This morning I had a grapefruit and unsweetened tea for breakfast. For lunch I had a salad (no dressing) of carrots, spinach, tomatoes, and cucumbers, a grilled chicken breast, a banana, and water. Now that it's afternoon, I'm starting to feel hungry again. Does anyone know of any snacks I could eat that would be healthy, and maybe even filling? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I have a pain that is mostly under my left shoulder blade. When I turn my head, the pain goes up to my neck. It is a burning pain, simiar to puled or torn muscles, but I haven't done anything that would have caused it. I took Ibuprophen, but it had no effect. Any ideas on what it is or how to treat it would be greatly appreciated. I've had this pain for 5 days now and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

I've started doing them since the end of summer and started at 9' and now I've noticed gains of about an inch already. Am I causing any long term damage by performing these exercises? I have read that it's all about stretching the tissue within the penis to allow more bloodflow, anyone with any experience please reply....thanxs.

An accupuncturist told me that to keep cold and flu germs out of my cubicle I should use lavandar essential 4 drops per quart of water and spray in my cubicle each day and that I would be free from those germs. I asked him about lysol and he said it doesn't work the same way and is actually harmful.

It only occurs during penetration and it is like he is hitting something. It happens at many angles. It is not a lack of lubricant. This has happened for years and the doctors are not able to find anything. Any ideas what's wrong?

Okay, so it goes like this. I had a dentist that I trusted and loved to death, but my new insurance, he doesn't take. I had to move to another dentist. I was supposed to go in today for a root canal, and he started to drill before I was numb. I screamed. The **** hurt. Well, he told me that there was not enough tooth left for a root canal, and that I was going to have to have it pulled.

Here comes the fun part:

He said that it was abcessed, and that I had to take two days of antibiotics before I could get it pulled, and he STARTED TO YELL AT ME. Yes, you heard me correctly. He YELLED at me. Obviously, this is NOT the guy I want doing an extraction.

Well, now that the numbness is starting to wear off, it's starting to hurt like HELL. What makes this MORE complicated is that I'm pregnant. I really can't take anything for the pain except for Tylenol.

I have an emergency extraction scheduled with my old dentist tomorrow. What can I do for the pain in the meantime?

My 5-year-old sister keeps complaining that her eyes hurt. She said this once yesterday, and this afternoon she was whining alot and kept complaining about her eyes. Around 4:00 she fell asleep but woke up again at 5 whining again. Any advice?

I have been checked and I do not have a UTI (urinary tract infection). I also do not have any std's. The burning sensation is awful and the only way to relieve it is a hot hot bath (I never take baths ... only when it's for this) I am careful never to use any scented products. Does anyone know what this burning is from? I also have IBS with constipation pretty bad. I have tried to associate the burning around different things i.e. menstruation or when my IBS is bad.
Please only serious answers.

I have had endo since found in 91 when I had a c-section ,and no doctor I have seen has helped me with this ,my pain is equal if not worse than labor ,I cant take it no more ,my dr just puts me on birth controll ,stops my periods awhile then we go off and start heavy bleeding again ,Im 42 they want me to go thru the change of life without removing anything .why ??they have done no test except ultrasounds to see whats causeing my pain ,my doctor said well hon ,some women just have alot of pain ,I have a high tolerance for pain and this is just about to draiin the life out of me each month .my pain is unreal .any suggestions for pain relief .

Ive been wanting to get braces for years. Ive looked into Apple Ortho and private Orthodontics. Is it better to go to Apple a place that is well known, or to a private ortho? Does anybody have any bad experiences with Apple or Monarch Dental? I have insurance but it does not cover orthodontics because it is considered "cosmetic".

sometimes i get a zig zagged distortion in my eye, it lasts for about 20 minutes, then i feel nauseas and i have a headache. would not getting enough water in my system cause this, cause i really dont drink much water unfortunately.

I am a very healthy person,no allergies, no major health problems, the occasional cold or flu thats it. I excersise regularily, and have a well balanced diet, i eat breakfast lunchh and dinner with snacks in between, i drink lots of water. I take good care of myself...But i am just wondering about this....I get headaches and start to feel a bit dizzy and fatigued almost every afternoon around 3:30-5:00 pm. I ussually have a snack about then which helps but does not get rid of my headache. I ussually just end up taking some advil and drinking lots more water. The headache and dizziness does eventually go away...but why does my body do this?
