GET A NEW DR!!!
I am 24 and I have Endometriosis, my Dr did laparascopic surgery to remove some of the tissue that was causing the pain that i was in, and also increase my chances of having children at some point in my life, the surgery didn't take very long, it was an outpatient surgery, and the incisions they made were very very small, it has decreased my discomfort so much. I know In time that i will have to repeat the procedure, but I'm willing to do so, knowing that it helps with the pain that has kept me bed ridden at times. Try looking up the treatments on web MD i know there are different options out there, that was the one my Dr chose for me, being that I had the bleeding tissue growing on all my reproductive organs and my lungs, along with cysts on my ovaries... if your Dr isn't willing to give you information like this then they are not a good physician, find a new one... and good luck

I went through around 15 different gyno doctors because the same type of treatment you had. I was sicked and so upset. I ended up back at my regular doctors crying on his shoulder. He suggested a pain specialist. During the time of the pain specialist I ended up on every type of pain medicine out there, from duragesic (trans-dermal fetnayl patch) to morphine. I had so many surgeries to remove scar tissue and to scrap the endo off the lining of my uterus and off muscles I had it everywhere. I also went through issues where the gyno dr would have me on so many medicines to counter the side effects of one medicine he had me on so in the end I was on 9 or 10 medicines at one point. Ended up having a TIA. It was horriable. Finally I was just fed up, I was over medicated my quality of life was horrible. The doctor finally suggested I see a general surgeon. I went in for surgery and he did a scrapping. Ya know what.. After that I never once had a problem again. I don't know if was taking it out of the gyno's hands or what and having a general surgeon do it but I have been pain free and it hasn't come back in over 7 years (knocking on wood) . At the time of all this I was also dealing with pcos also.
I wish you all the luck and hope you find relief!!

Get a new doc. A friend of mine had endometreosis and her doc immediately told her of all different kinds of meds and procedures including acupuncture. She tried several of them for several years. But when it became so bad that every month she had to take 2 - 3 days off from work, she told her doc that she couldn't take it any more. Her doc quickly scheduled her for a full hysterctomy. She went through the change early, but now has such a better quality of life. She too said she had a high tolerance for pain, and said it was MUCH worse than child birth.

If you don't live in a big city, or a city with several hospitals, find one that does have several hospitals and check with your insurance to see which docs are covered.
It sounds like your current doc is a man. They never really understand. But even if your current doc is a woman, it sounds like he/she doesn't take your pain seriously. And if they don't take seriously what I take seriously, I look for a new doc - it doesn't matter how long I've been with them.

you have written that your age is 42 and you have endometriosis following a c-section, ultrasound is only test done to find out cause of your pain.
It appears that there is something lacking in your treatment, what it could be--
I. Is your Dr. not properly trained to diagnose and treat your condition
2.You are in a small city with limited medical facilities?
3.is diagnosis of endometriosis correct?
Because whatever you have explained in your Question that really raises a Question in mind about competency of available medical system to make a correct diagnosis also .
If however, you are convinced that diagnosis is correct then instead of giving you only medicines to relieve pain, medicines for endometriosis should also be prescribed. My suggestion is --confirm that you have endometriosis, Once it is cofirmed then take following medicines--
I. Cap Danazole 200 mg three times a day(total 600 mg every day)
2.One Tab Brufen with OneTab of Paracetamol whenever you have pain.
Initially take this treatment for 15 days, if there is significant improvement then continue it for six to eight months.
