How do you help a Friend with Flashbacks ?
How do you help someone with FlashBacks?
I have afriend who cannot stop talking about her tragic childhood.
She has a great business, and has done some amazing things for herself and as a young person in business ( shes only 27!),

but everytime she slows down, its like, boom, she goes into this "my parents left me, I can't trust anybody, Why did it happen, why do these things happen" kinda deal.

It doesn't help matters that she also recently went through some really tough things with an unfaithful husband.

Shes a cool person otherwise, really devoted to her Faith, and like I said, when it comes to her business, shes on Fire.

But behind closed doors, she can be a wreck.

How can I help her?

I am 20 years old I had been in pain for a couple of months so I decided to go see my doctor and see why my breast were hurting so much. He recommended that I do a bilateral breast ultrasound so I did the results just came in and I went to the doctor. They found no large masses but they did see that I have two swollen Lymph nodes one in each breast(one is 26mm the other 21mm) my doctor has now recommended that I get a biopsy but her partner has recommended I do a MRI of my breast. I am still having sharp stabbing pains all the time in my breasts.If some one could please answer and help me understand if this can lead to cancer, if it could be cancer or if I am just panicing?

MacDonald's is a prime example. Why do they price their salads at 4 bucks a pop and then offer double cheese burgers for 99 cents? Last time I checked, a head of lettuce was less than $1.00. Do you think if fast food establishments made their salads/healthier menu items less expensive people would be more inclined to eat those things?

I spoke with my mother (an experienced nurse), who went to a health care/informational convention on the subject. She tried to alert me to the best ways of preparing for the outbreak, however I would like to hear a second opinion, that is contrary(or not) to that of my mother's bleak view on the topic. I'm just curious what others are doing to prepare, since this subject isn't being covered very well by the media.

How do you know if one of your boobs is bigger then the other??? I know that my left one always pops out of my bra?? I know I know silly question. I was talking to a girlfriend of mine and she always notices that it pops out too. And she said " Oh that one must be bigger.." And ever since then I can't stop thinking about it? My boobs are fairly large for my height and weight?? I am about 5'8 125lbs on a good day? Nothing serious just bothering me. I've been vomiting from 5am - 8am. Once it stopped I tried to drink some tea but I just took one sip and it came right back up, same with the banana and the glass of water, I was wondering if I should eat anything because I haven't had anything all day. On the other hand, if it comes back up it will only make me feel worse. Is there anything that can be easily digestable that I might be able to keep down?

Another thing, I'm not hungry but I'm not full either. And there is no way I am pregnant (I am only 13) and for the past few days I've had a cold which seems to have gone away, although this isn't much better.

I use tampons and for at least my past two cycles, I've noticed that only one side of the tampon gets dirty...the other side doesn't get any blood at all on it. Is this something I should be worried about? And why does this happen?

I am taking COREG for heart failure, and lately i feel like a have no sex drive. My husband TRIES to be intimate with me, I can feel it in my mind but it just doesn't get (down there to stimulate anything). I discovered that Coreg blocks receptors in your body from picking up certian hormones. Coreg blocks receptors Alapha 1, and Beta 1,2 from receiveing hormones...it doesn't let them bind together. I also read that Alpha 2 receptor is mainly responsible for sex drive and sex organs.....I'm still not sure if Coreg affects that receptor. Does anyone have ideas on how to enchance sex drive when on COREG? HELP.

I am a big girl and have been but lately I've switched store locations and I've gained more pounds very fast. I need to put an end to this and start losing. The problem is that I work in a very busy fast food restaraunt and even if I take foods into eat I still eat the calorie fat packed foods that are already hot and ready to eat right in front of me. I work 50 hours a week and its all different shifts, it's even hard to eat correctly at home. My eating habits are the downfall of my weight gain. What are somethings I can do to get back in line? How can I eat healthy, watch portions, and feel full?

I have a really hard time getting up in the morning. I am in college and have missed a lot of my morning classes due to this problem. I had the same problem in high school, but it's worse now.

I also have a hard time falling asleep as well.

(note: i do not drink or do drugs...that is not the problem)

My doctor recently prescribed Zoloft to help my depression. I have not begun taking it. I've researched this medicine and found some disturbing stories of severe weight gain. I've taken Lexapro in the past and it made me gain a ton of weight. I've also taken Wellbutrin in the past with no adverse weight gain side effects. I've researched the drug Cymbalta and haven't found any stories of weight gain. I'm thinking of suggesting this drug to my doctor to see if he will switch my prescriptions. Has anyone taken Cymbalta with a success story to share?

I have had a mole at the back of my neck since birth, however recently it seems to be itching more and has once of twice bleeded and weeped. I have booked an appointment with the doc to get it checked out, yet the have a long wait, as the local surgery is poor on giving out near-dates...

okay,....i'm 16 years old...i've been smoking for quite sometime...i really want to stop....but all of my friends smoke too...when i hang around with them...they would offer me cigarette...but i'd say "i've stopped"....and they'd ask why?....i really don't want to answer that question...it's really hard to do so...i think i should just stay at home and never see them again...but the question is can i?...or will i?....is there anything else i could do?..

Was anybody able to have their insurance company pay for their Circumcision? The last I heard, they say that Circumcision was a cosmetic hence insurance will not cover. What was your reason for having it done and did your insurance cover? What was the cost?

Also, most importantly, how was sex for you after the procedure?

My husband is being told that he has to remain in the hospital for a full 4 days after having LASIK done.
