I've been vomiting from 5am - 8am. Once it stopped I tried to drink some tea but I just took one sip and it came right back up, same with the banana and the glass of water, I was wondering if I should eat anything because I haven't had anything all day. On the other hand, if it comes back up it will only make me feel worse. Is there anything that can be easily digestable that I might be able to keep down?

Another thing, I'm not hungry but I'm not full either. And there is no way I am pregnant (I am only 13) and for the past few days I've had a cold which seems to have gone away, although this isn't much better.

Well hun, sounds like a stomach virus. In which case, start with sucking on a piece of ice, this will assist you not to become dehydrated. Give your stomach a little rest, like 2 to 4 hours, before progressing to anything beyond Ice. If you get the ice down, then progress to something like chicken broth, apple juice, bananas, yogurt, rice, Coke is real good once your able to keep down liquids, for Coke has potassium in it, which you lose this when throwing up. Basically rest all of today, don't push your self to eat solid foods. If not feeling better within 24 hours, I strongly recommend you see a Physician. Bless your heart, I know you must feel terrible. Hope you get to feeling better very soon.

The best thing to do is get some Pedialite, which restores the electrolytes that you've lost, and restoring your fluid losses. Keep it at room temperature and take small sips. You may still toss it up, but eventually you'll start to keep it down. I wouldn't worry too much about eating anything right now, unless it was clear broth (no noodles), bullion broth or jello. Stay on clear liquids today, and maybe even tomorrow. You might have a stomache virus, which needs to run its course. Sit in a recliner and relax. If you can't get ahold of any Pedialite, then just take small sips of cool water. No tea, 'cause the caffeine might make your tummy upset again. Like I said, keep to clear liquids for today. Maybe tomorrow morning, try some dry toast and see if that stays down. You can also try some clear sodas, like 7Up, Sprite or Sierra Mist, at room temperature. Small sips. People go through living on liquid diets for a couple of days, so this won't hurt you any. But, keep the liquids coming, or you will get dehydrated, and that can be dangerous. Baby yourself today, and part of tomorrow, and you should be on your way to getting back to your old self. If this doesn't go away in a couple of days, I would suggest calling your doctor or county nurse and see what they think. Take care. <*)))><

You need to keep you hydration up so take some water with simple sugars and salt. My favorite is gatorade diluted 50/50 with water , if you don't have that on hand then use any fruit juice diluted 50/50 with water and add a small pinch of salt per large glass. Drink it very slowly in small sips - don't gulp it or you'll just throw it back up again. Don't take any soups or fluids containing fats until you're feeling better. Go see a doctor if it doesn't get any better in 12 hours. If you start feeling dizzy or you have vomitting and diarrhea that doesn't settle in a couple of hours go to the emergency room.

Well, since you have been throwing up for so long you probably need electrolytes and you are probably dehydrated. So, I suggest first to have saltines without the salt on it. Also, try some ginger ale, 7up warm or plain club soda stirred so the carbonation gets flatter. Carbonation can upset the stomach more and cause the lining of your esophagus to start to shred along with your stomach. If none of this works, I highly suggest you go directly to the ER. Feel better soon and I do hope this will help you.

Try eating a popsicle, but take very small bites. If you can't hold down water, you might have to wait a few more hours to try eating. Take small sips of water or 7-Up; once you can tolerate that for awhile, try the popsicle.

You need electrolytes first until you stop puking.

Take a teaspoon of 7 up or coke every ten minutes for an hour, then take twice that until you feel like not puking.
