When your daughter burps the gases in her stomach are released. So if her burps smell of rotten eggs she has been eating food high in sulfides.
The excess stomach gases need to be released from one of the holes at either end of her digestive tract. If she is experiencing stomach aches then it may be she is repressing her body's natural functions.
Is your daughter embarrassed to pass wind? She might be clenching her sphincter which forces the flatulence gases back through her system. This may be bloating her and causing the stomachache.
Teach her to politely excuse herself when she wants to pass wind and see if that helps the stomachaches and burps. If she needs to pass wind then holding it in can be unhealthy. She could be suffering from an etiquette training situation that you have overlooked.

I suffered as a child with the same thing...as an adult, I also suffer. My dr thinks it is Irritable Bowel Syndrome....but I have had a whole battery of tests....gall bladder, upper and lower endoscopy, ultrasound.....I can go on a rotten egg burp binge for several weeks....Something she is eating is not agreeing withher or she is unable to digest. Poor baby.....I kow exactly how she feels........try the changes to her diet.....see if that helps before youget any furhter testing.

It's the smell of the stomach gasses, dark meat is harder to digest than say, chicken, turkey or fish...pork is quite an acidic meat so avoid this one. I would ask him to clarify what he means...I would try and stick to fresh steamed veggies rather than too much fruit, they are higher in acid. It sounds like she produces too much acid in her digestive system and the ache is a form of indigestion.

Just imagine...you eat foods, they go into your stomach where they may sit for hours, mixing with other solids or liquids...and after a few hours, imagine the smell..............YELK
she has a sour stomach...try baking soda in water...kinda like an alka seltzer, settles the stomach

Best solution is for her to avoid meat (as far as possible) and drink lots of water (not juices which are from concentrate mostly) just plain water.
