My boyfriend recently had a root canal on a badly decayed tooth. Everything was fine until he developed a tooth abscess this morning. He says he's not really in pain, but he won't be able to get to the dentist for a couple of days, which worries me. I know that the dentist will drain the abscess for him, but he wants to do this himself. Is it a good idea?

i didnt hurt my self that i know of! I woke up the other day with a bruise the size
of a softball on the back of my thigh,,it looks really bad but does not hurt? should i be worried? i have been exercising with a thighmaster but i only used it about 3 times!could that be the reason?

My mum is currently taking Tamoxifen following treatment for breast cancer and has developed a severe rash. The McMillan nurse says that she hasn't seen anything like it before as a reaction to Tamoxifen so I wondered whether anyone else has to rule it out as the cause.

I'd just like to hear some thoughts on this. I have heard it said that female to male trasmission has never been proven, and that most evidence points against it. I've also heard that the media has tried to get everyone to believe that AIDS is a disease for everyone. So what is it?

I tend to believe that prostitutes have to be crawling with AIDS, and if it were true that women could give it to men, those prostitutes would have caused AIDS to run rampant on the world. Any thoughts?

Apparantly I snore and grind my teeth pretty loudly while sleeping. While I'm not too bothered about the snoring, I'm getting pretty worried about the grindage of my teeth. Why do I do this and can can I prevent doing it again?
