You are probably feeling/hearing your heartbeat. Blood of course is supplied to your ears through vessels connected ultimately to you heart which pumps the blood throughout your body. Unless you have abnormal high blood pressure, are very thin in stature or are experiencing elevated levels of stress or anxiety or work a strenuous job, you have nothing to be concerned about. However, anytime you have health concerns, even if you think they're minor or even silly, talk to your doctor

You can hear your own heartbeat, when you cover your ears it cuts out outside noise and allows you to hear your pulse>
