I have a really hard time getting up in the morning. I am in college and have missed a lot of my morning classes due to this problem. I had the same problem in high school, but it's worse now.

I also have a hard time falling asleep as well.

(note: i do not drink or do drugs...that is not the problem)

No mean answers please!

i have heard that eating in the apple in the morning can wake you up better than coffee. i know it sounds crazy, but something about the crunch and whatnot really helps get you going! give it a try!

I've heard the same thing; it's worth a shot.
Why not go to bed earlier or find out why you're not able to sleep? You should be getting 8 hours a night. If you are and you're still tired, see a doctor.

You're not going to believe (this at first) but..... Sleep Apnea.

I had it for over 50 years & never knew it. Now that I've been diagnosed & have the appropriate "fix"..... my life is 300% better. (and more important... I'll live longer)..... Sleep Apnea is associated with heart disease because of the reduced oxygen in your blood.

Try splashing cold water on your face when you get up. Also,
(I realise this may not be an option if you have to leave early for work), going for a jog gets everything woken up!!
