I'm 29, male, and I was diagnosed this year. But I have battled serious depression for years. The hypomania I never noticed, but in hindsight it makes sense with all my artistic endeavors. I recently crashed down and couldn't function. So I had to move back home with my folks. I'm doing better on Lithium, but I feel that I have lost all motivation, ambition, and social interaction. Not sure where to go from here. I work part time, teach classes at colleges here. Where do I go from here?

my life is tragic. my boy friend that i absalootly adorred dumped me and I still LOVE him. eventhough he doesnt like me and i have a boy friend. him and my bff might go out and then ill be really jellous. i really need help on either hoe to get him back or how to get over him. I REALLY LOVE HIM.

help, please :(. im a nursing student ... a new one.. and trying to do some paperwork in someone who has diabetes type 2. i keep finding stuff that comes up diabetes mellitus type 2...is it the same thing as regular diabetes type 2???? i'm confused.

This is the one prescribed for me whenever I have severe colds. I can not take any other one such as Tylenol since my doctor says they interfere with other medications i take.

It started 3-4 days ago. first i guess my nose was stuffy. then it was my throat which started hurting. then real bad throat ache. then it got mildly better. then i developed a cough. then my throat got little better, but still hurts a little. BUT NOW worst of all is this pain in one of my ears. it hurts a ton. especially when you let out one of those silent burps, then it hurts for a second real bad. I KNOW i must go to doctor which i probably will, but does anyone know what could be wrong? will the ear thing get better, because ive heard its just a sympton.

you are lucky to see a doctor for 5 minutes and your finnished, they just dont want to talk, egs i have psoriasis, i tell them i am getting it on my face, they tell me no you cant get on your face, or i got an infection in my hand and i got psoriasis after that, they say no it cant happen, but they look at you funny when you tell them my skin specialist said it was so. and not one doctor i have seen probably 10 different doctors over the last 13 years. it is so hard to find a good doctor, even my rhematoligist is making errors, you put your well being into the hands of these doctors and what do you get back, greef. and its hard to get in to see specialists you cant just chop n change. my specialist has done a form to work cover and has left important things out and played down my aurthritis, i have trouble walking on my feet, siting, sleeping,i get headaches every week ect ect, he didnt even put this in his report, he even has put down the incorect year of when i got psoriasis.

So dumb. My neighbor is a Scientologist and told me to quit my ADD meds, she says that diet and exercise and of course giving her little cult hundreds of dollars will cure me. I have tried everything under the sun, diet, exercise and they have improved my condition slightly, but overall medicine and therapy are huge in my treatment.

Why do these cult members who have no experience with ADHD ranting about it? I wonder why L Ron Hubbards son committed suicide.

I used to have a problem with cutting myself. I went through some very hard experiences, and iI resorted to cutting. It helped me so much, but people started finding out, and I felt so stupid for doing it. It helped me get through it SO much.

I haven't done it in about 5 months. It has been so hard for me to not do it. At first, I did it for the reason of it stopped me from thinking about what happend. Now, whenever I get stressed out, or I just can't thing about what's going on anymore, cutting myself is the first thing I want to do. I truly dont know what to do. I know its not good to do it, but it helps me SOOO much.

I was on medication for it, but I ran out, and its going to be about 5 weeks before I can get the Rx refilled.

Why do I always want to cut myself, and why is it so bad if I do it? I'm not killing myself. I really don't know what to do anymore :'(

About ten years or so ago I went to the doctor and asked about Prostate cancer screening. He said I was too young. Besides being over worked under paid and uninsured I have a pain in my scrotum and it feels like I have an 8 ball in between my crotch. I have been doing a lot of heavy lifting and I am exhausted. Everything works fine down there but I am very tired. A friend of mine had kidney cancer and he died shortly afterwards, he complained of being tired. Also my bones hurt. I was thinking that I could have a body infection. Should I be terminated by lethal injection? Getting sick is a sin in this country, I should be punished. Of course I could be over reacting, it has been a terrible week.

I have never been a marijuana smoker till the last few weeks.During that time i have noticed that my asthma just dissappears and doesnt bother me at all...before the last few weeks my asthma would bug me several times a day and have to use and asthma inhaler...but since i smoked mary jane my asthma has dissappeared...has anyone else ever experienced this or read any possible pages on the net about it....thanks

Does anyone have anxiety or panic attacks? sHow were you treated and did it work?

For the past 3 weeks I've noticed that when I'm in class, I start to feel naucous, lightheaded, dizzy, shortness of breath, rapid heartbeat, chest pains, and I feel like I'm gonna pass out and my mouth is really dry.

But sometimes I can be at my house and I'll feel this way for a little while. At night I feel fine (most of the time) when I know everyone is sleeping and safe.

Can an event trigger this? This started to happen after my boyfreind got really sick. I was always worried, then I got a sinus infection. As soon as I got better, this started.

By the way, this exact experience happened to me at the end of my Senior year in high school. I took two years off and I'm now in college and it's happening again.

Can someone help me out? What kind of doctor do I see? How did you cope with your anxiety? And do you think this is a panic attack that I'm experiencing?

Lasts for 10-40 minutes.

I've been avoiding it on the first day on the pill after my period and last days of taking my pills(21 day) before my period , but would it actually be okay to be sexually active on those days? I don't know where I got this idea, and I don't want to risk getting pregnant, but I also don't want silly hang up, if thats what it is.
