I unfortunately have to agree that smoking makes asthma worse. I jog five miles every other day, and live in WA state where pot is legal. I've experimented many times with smoking different ways, not smoking, smoking every day etc... and my conclusion is for me, for smoking makes it harder to jog the next time, even with asthma meds. As much as I don't want to believe it, this has rung true for me. A breath of fresh air is the better that any smoke..

I am asthmatic and i have never tried smoking weed, however marijuana has been proven to work for other medical conditions so why not asthma. I think that the government needs to make it available to people with any medical condition that it will help. It is cheap and doesn't have all the side effects of all the other drugs that they give people. Check with your doctor some will prescribe it for medical purposes. My father in law was legal blind and when he first started having problems with his eyes he was giving marijuana as a part of his treatment. You don't have to tell him that you have already tried it just let him know that you heard that it worked.

Yes I will dare to touch this question. LOL
The reason your asthma has not bothered you is because marijuana actually helps asthmatics not have as many attacks by causinhg a productive cough and keeping the mucous loose. It is that simple. It also relaxes the muscles so that the tightening is not as bad.
Howver, do not try this on everyone, people are different. But you personally are getting the expected reaction from pot smoking.
Just keep in mind, that after time, it can cause lung cancer, and many other lung problems. Weigh your risks against the benefits.

Absolutely false. Smoking makes asthma worse. Smoking also causes emphysema that also makes you wheeze. Never believe a smoker or drinker. They lie to cover their weaknesses. When smokers say they have asthma, they are trying to hide the fact that they have already destroyed their lungs through emphysema. When they say they cured their asthma by smoking, it's like someone saying they cured their headache by knocking their head against the wall.

Marijuana And Asthma

Actually I read an article called "Marijuana and asthma" by Lisa. It was said that she had discovered that Marijuana relieves asthma by accident. The THC acts as bronchodilator in both normal subjects and patients with either chronic bronchial asthma or experimentally induced bronchial spasms.
