I had cough and my throat has phlegm...worse still, I dunno why I had pain in front of my ears..., why???

and i have a sharp pain in my head everytime i cough...any solutions???

The pain in your ears is more than likely sinus pressure. Goto a dr and get some antibiotcs that'd be your best bet. YOu can gargle with a half of teaspoon of salt in warm water for your throat it'll kill any type of bacteria or infection in it. Try eating soup aswell.

sounds like the flu..the cough, the phlegm and the sharp pain when you cough its definately the flu...you have pain in your head when you cough because its a reflex when you are trying to push out a foreign body out of your system. Go to the doctor and maybe the dr can give you something for the cough and the phlegm...you need to get some rest its the only way when you get better invest in a flu shot my dear...My husband is sick and i get the stuffy nose and all but i dont get the aches and pains...hope you heed my advice and go before it gets worse...

I just took my son to the doctor two days ago, and he has very similar problems (cough, sore throat, phlegm, and he didn't complain of his ears hurting but the doc said that they were red inside and aggravated, etc. He said his head hurts when he coughs, and sometimes (if coughing extremely hard) he coughs whitish junk up. The doc gave him cough syrup and amoxacillin and said he has an Upper Respritory Infection. My son also has asthma, and that has made the coughing part worse.

Solultion, call your doc and ask for a antibiotic and give them your symptoms. If you've gone to the doc for awhile, then chances are they'll just call in the scrip and you won't have to waste money on the visit. Hope you get better soon!

OH, a good website to go to, it has a 'symptom checker" and lots of message boards, etc, is http://www.webmd.com They have actual physicians and nurses who monitor the boards, answering questions, etc., as well as regular people like us.
