You have my empathy! I just switched to Kaiser--& this is very important: they get paid SALARIES, not by how many people they can shuffle in & out. My prior group referred me to a specialist who prescribed something that would have been fatal, had I not researched it myself. I demand all my medical reports, & have found so many errors about things I never had, or said. It was such a hassle to get them corrected, but I did. This group was so indifferent; TIME TO CHANGE. Kaiser has a system that's connected, prevents, maintains, calls to let you know you're due for an appointment, test, whatever. I got my last blood work results online, (I can read them), & my doctor sent me the full report with explanations of what each thing meant. My glucose was JUST borderline, but to be on the safe side, he has set me up with the clinic that deals with diabetes. I can even e-mail him. It's another world! & by the way, yes you CAN have psoriasis all over your body. I know someone who has, & is taking medication for it. Psoriasis can also cause other conditions, arterial inflammation, etc., that can lead to a lot worse. I'd suggest you change doctors, or at the least, look at the copious websites that provide valuable information about the things in which you are concerned. I may have psoroasis on my legs, they look like rotted fence posts. The doctor with my old group looked at them, said "Oh, MY!" & then looked at her watch & that was that. Hello???

doctors only know what they have been taught, Think about taking your car to a mechanic and tell him you think there is something wrong. He will look for symptoms he is familiar with and start replacing parts. Doctors are the same way. You should look for a better doctor

I know how u feel. We have to except in life some medical problems are beyond current science. Why don't they? Plod along and don't give up there is a light at the end of the tunnel. NOT all docs don't care they can only be as good as info u give them, when u find a good one. Chin up and i have found its only pain, except it and deal with it. has gotten me moving forward

You look until you find a doctor that you're comfortable with.

Our doctor doesn't care how many people are waiting for him he treats you like you're his only patient. He's an Internest and he's great. He always has a full waiting room.

Because he takes his time....you usually have a long wait but it's worth it.

I suggest you ask around to all the people you know if they like their doctors and who they can recommend. My doctors are very good at listening and that is part of the reason I go to them.
