Nope, cats need their own medicine, so do dogs, sheep, ferrets, and on. I'm glad to see that most answers here state that. Especially that the Vet Techs had input. I liked the pillowcase idea too. When I bathed my cats, which was very infrequently, usually when they needed a flea bath before flea meds became modified for cats, I used my sink, put a towel on the bottom, had a pail of warm water for wetting the cat and one for rinsing. A part of the problem in bathing a cat is the sound of the water running. It helps to have a second person to either do the washing and rinsing or holding. Talk constantly to the cat, soothing it. Do the psychotic cat first. Possibly this will make him less psychotic if it doesn't hear the other cat yowling. And try not to be apprehensive or angry. The animals will pick up on that and like kids, feed into it. Hope this helps some. I've only been lucky enough to have 2 cats that loved water.

I wanna say that it is spelt, neurotin. Not possitive tho. I've taken it b4 & it neverhelped. I like SOMA, Lortab, Vicodine, Dilaudid, Tramadol, Ultracet or Ultram, Fiorcet, XANAX, Buspar, Oxicontin, or Morphine Patches. All those seem to work very well on me 4 any type of pain. Especially for muscle problems!

If it's a vet prescribed medicine and you follow the dosage exactly. Also, make sure to stay with the cats until it wears off. So, that may be 8-12 hours. You'll need to keep the cats in the same room as you and keep an eye on them at all times.

I work daily with all kinds of meds. the only one that I can think of is called neurontin. Its generic name is gabapentin. This drug was and is a front line defense for millions who suffer from Seizure disorders. It also has a side effect that causes a decrease in pain signal transmission. Talk with your Dr. He/She can tell you what they think. Remember there is NO pat answer. no one size fits all and NO miracle drug that works for everyone,Work with your DR. Don't get discouraged. Keep the lines of communication open and don't be shy about discussing how the pills make you feel.

I think you are talking about Neurontin , a nerve ending relaxer for pain. This can not be purchased without a prescription, but you can ask the pharmacy what medication does about the same thing, that you do not need a prescription.
