Was it painful? What does it feel like? What did you have to change about your eating/brushing habits? Did you get your braces on while the expander was on or after it was off? Thanks in advace for all your help-I just want to know what I'm getting myself into! =)

Kind like that mother's saying, "If you make that face, it'll stay that way."? I did, for most of my teen and young adult years. Never thought about it that much. I always thought that was my natural look passed down from my family. (My uncle looked very upset all the time when I was a kid. My mom and dad looked normal, though) Until I became more aware of it when I was 32 (I'm 35 now), that this was'nt my natural face. Deep down inside, I WAS angry and it was showing on my face, even when relaxed. Angry at my family life (we were poor), angry at being involved with a cult for most of my youth, and angry at being stuck in a 4 year relationship with woman that I knew in my heart did'nt care for me, but I stayed for mostly the sex and fear of being alone. Long story short, through self help books, advice on the net, New Age methods, and a close female friend of mine, I managed to "morph" my face to my normal, friendly and approachable look now. Anyone else out there can relate?

I was taking Paxil for anxiety however, it was causing me to have night sweats. Doctor suggested Lexapro. He said it has the least side effects. Anyone taken this before? If so how did it compare to Paxil?

What exactly is the difference between the South Beach diet and a low glycemic index diet? Have you ever tried the south beach/low glycemic index diet? Any luck?

I have discovered chi tea! I have the celestial seasonings white honey vanilla chi and some green tea chi.
Man this stuff is so good! I don't add any sugar to it and it tastes good. When I want to munch I drink this and it typically erases the craving (I drank this when quitting smoking to).
What do you all do that works for you?

I am going to lose 100 pounds. I am going going on a diet that will hopefully keep me eating at a set time. I like to snack all day. I have a nervous condition that keeps at least one part of my body moving, usually my mouth with food in it. I am being serious. If my mouth isn't moving, it is my foot or my hand, etc. I usually don't eat "meals". Instead, I usually just keep snacking all day (sunflower seeds, cereal, etc). Anything that is small and has many pieces. Any suggestions to help break the habit of constant snacking?

I have tried the Atkins diet with no success. I know that I eat not because I am hungry, but because I like food. I mean, I am seriously addicted to food! I am going to lose 100 pounds and wanted to know what would be the best way to do that? I think the low glycemic index diet is the best for me because I am addicted to bad sugars, but what do you think? I usually don't eat more than 1200 calories in a day or more than 100 grams of fat. I do, however, eat at least twice as many carbs in a day as you are supposed to eat. Any suggestions?

My aunt is on a fixed income, and her prescriptions for Parkinson's medication have skyrockted to more than $750 each month, which she cannot afford.

There is an organization advertising on TV right now - the ad shows a bus and I *think* it's Montel Williams talking about how drug companies will pay for prescriptions for individuals who can't pay for them themselves.

I cannot remember the website or name of this company, but every time I see the commercial I think it would really help my aunt. Does anyone know what the organization is or can anyone remember the website? I think it is pp.org?

Thanks so much to anyone who can remember...
