Did you measure your bust or thighs? Chances are you lost inches, but gained muscle from the exercise, so the weight didn't change. It could also be the scale you're using. Home scales are very inaccurate. You need to use one at a health club or doctor's office. Also, do you keep a journal of everything you eat? It's really easy to sneak in an extra 500 calories without realizing it. It's all a numbers game: net calories burned versus calories consumed. You should probably go on a supervised program for more accurate measurements of what's going on.

Are you in a hurry to lose weight? You're body is in "starvation" mode and is holding onto every calorie. I suggest you eat at least 1200 calories a day and if you exercise try eating another 200-300 calories. Make sure you do eat healthy foods such as 5 servings of fruits and vegetables, 2 servings of milk product, 2 teaspoons of healthy oils and drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. When you first start increasing your calories, you will probably maintain or put on a few pounds until your body adjusts. The weight will come off at .5-2lbs a week. That is a safe rate of weight loss.
I was once like you and thought that the less I ate and the more I exercise the weight will come off quick but I could not maintain it and put the weight back on. Also I suggest trying Weight Watchers since they can guide you in the right direction for weight loss without you having to buy there food.

personally, I'd say look up your BMI weight, or a weight you would like to be. if say 150 pounds you need 1500 calories a day. 130 pounds you need 1300 calories a day. The nutrition facts on food is based on a 2,000 calorie diet. you are eating enough calories for someone 60 or 70 pounds. your body has went into survival mode. it will store everything you will eat.

also eating healthy. i don't mean buy light or diet or fatfree foods. Remember to include beverages in calorie counts. if you drink lots of soda, it can keep the pounds. Leave food on your plate, dispite what your parents say.

expect to slip off, don't sweat it. next meal or day is a new try.

well i lost 10 lbs in the last 4 months. in one month i couldn't tell crap so dont worry but... I didnt not eat when i was hungry or not drink i just ate healthier i'd have a salad like 3 with tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, olives, cottage cheese, cucumbers with italian dressing. All the fat needs to be cut out of limited... but replaced with good food. Like macroni eat brocolli with cheese on it. Instead of hamburger have fish filet. instead of fries apple dippers? get it... just replace not eleminate calories... calories are good for you they help burn calories but the bad kind stick to you so eat the good kind..

I didn't exercise everyday only when my body was restored from exercising... Like what i did tell myself at least once a week run a mile or 2. and after i did that well if i felt like doing more i did but if i didnt then dont. but do what your body is telling you. but ignore the i want chocolate i want ice cream... Maybe pizza will make me feel better? I am still trying to loose weight i am 130lbs and 5'3''. I lost 10lbs so i was 140lbs... in July. Yeah so i do eat bad stuff ever now and again but i pay for it and i dont loose the weight i wont to loose which is like 15 more pounds... well good luck! Oh yeah try to loose weight by yourself i think when you compete its also unhealthy emotionally and physically.

Your body thinks it is starving, and has effectively shut down your metabolism. You need to kick start that before any calories get burned. I bet you feel whacked all the time, right ?

You need to check with your doctor that there is no underlying medical problem for you to lose weight, and then ramp up the calories to get your metabolism going again, whilst doing lots of exercise. Your doctor may have diet plans or refer you to a dietitian to work one out for you.

Try this instead...
-Don't count calories, just spread your eating out over 5-6 meals in a day.
-Eat less fat and sugar and drink more water.
-Start drinking green tea every day.
-Take a multi-vitamin every day.
-Walk your 3-4 miles before breakfast every morning.
-Work out with weights every other day.
-Be consistent and I guarantee it will work.

You might need to just change what you are eating and drink more water. Try eating smaller meals throughout the day and eating lots of veggies. You may just be building muscle and losing fat, muscle weighs more than fat does.

cutting your calorie intake to 600-700 calories is NOT GOOD!

Your body is storing every little presious calorie and ounce of fat it can!

You should eat about 300 calories every three hours, it will burn your metabolism!
