I know there are still many people out there who do not consider mental illness a medical disease, but I am here to tell you that, yes, it is, so get over it and don't bring those opinions into this, they don't help.

Having said that, I wonder how many people out there with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, asthma, and metal ilnesses have worked past being angry and asking "why me?"

I am personally just entering this stage and I don't like it. I don't like feeling angry all the time. My official diagnosis is Major Depression, and I have long ago confronted the idea of having a mental illness. However, I have only just started to face the whole concept of it never going away.

Any advice?

My mom told me that when she was in her early 20s, she often had itches. Even from the marks you get when your arms lean long enough on the edge of a table. Those sort of things. Now, I am having itches as well, occruing in different areas, and I just can't help but scratch and rupture my skin. When I scratch, small bumps take place. Once its over, the bumps subside. I wonder what is causing this. Lack of a certain vitamin like my dad said? That's why he is making me take b-complex. Is it hereditary as well?

I need any suggestions pertaining to a really bad cough I have. I have not gotten barely any sleep the last two nights with this dry hacking cough. It even wakes me up at night. I'm not coughing anything up, I have no congestion. I have been taking Robitussin and Sudafed every 5 hours. What is a good product to take, especially at night to suppress the cough? I have heard of this Zicam cough spray. Does it work? Any suggestions please!

My daughter is 3 and started complaining about her legs hurting 3 months ago, now she can't walk for more than 5 mins without her legs giving out. We have to take her in a stroller everywhere. We have been waiting to see the speacilist in 3 months but she seems to be getting worse fast, we give her massages, hot baths, and now she is on heavy pain killers, is there anyone else out there who has been through this that can give me advice on other things to try or do? Or what else this might be?

This excruciating pain I've had in my breasts for the last week and a half is driving me insane. Do I need to go get a mammogram? Could it be the caffiene I drink? I'm only 22, but is that too young to be worried about cancer?

I've been taking ativan as needed for anxiety for about a year and a half. A bottle of 30 .5 mg pills usually lasts me for about 3 months. I know it's addictive and I've recently - within the last week or so - found myself taking more than usual. I'm not sure if i'm just having a bit of super anxiety or if i am becoming addicted. i'm very antsy right now, having trouble concentrating here at work, but I don't want to take one in case it's the latter. does anyone here have any expertise in this field?

burn off more calories than you take in than your weight will go down. Why don't these people just say that they are unwilling to stop eating more than they burn off and then the admission might set them free. As Dr. Phil says you can't change what you won't acknowledge
