If you would like to loose weight dont do it just to impress a guy do it for your won health and happiness. If you dont do it for yourself to make you happy then it doesn't matter bcuz you will only gain that weight back. If he cant accept you with the extra pounds then he wouldnt accept you without the extra pounds you have to love yourself b4 you can get anywhere with that situation. Take this advice to heart.

ok looking over your past questions it is clear you are quite needy. Your parents have split up and you seem to have lot of questions about flirting and if people like you. My advice to youis relax think about pampering yourself a wee bit doing things with your friends. Dont start worrying about love and things like that yet you have plenty of time. as for your weight issue it seems you have lost 10 pounds already so good for you. Keep up the work and you could be at your ideal weight in no time. do not over do it though guys do not like wee skinny girls with bones sticking out. just be a healthy normal size. this will build up your confidence and you may find the guys swarming around you then!

Lose the weight for yourself - you need to have higher standards for yourself - if you don't think your current weight is good enough for some stupid high school boy (and believe me most high school boys are stupid) then it shouldn't be good enough for you! I'm not suggesting that anyone become OBSESSIVE with their weight, but........when you look good and have worked hard to be in the kind of shape you desire to be in, there are definite benefits. I work out 6 times a week and watch what I eat, and when I have a bad day, I still know that when I come home and look in the mirror, I feel GOOD about myself! (You are young so you probably don't need to work out six times a week, but maybe 3, and eat healthy).

Never loose weight because of some one else. If you want to loose weight for yourself then go to the doctor and get on a sensible diet and exercise program. If you do this for someone else then you may become bitter towards them for not caring for you before you lost weight.

First and formost, do it for yourself!! If you don't, and you keep gaining, over the next 10 years, you will be very overwieght. Start to change your lifestyle and eat healthy but don't hold off asking him out until you are skinny. The longer you are on it, the better your self esteem will be. best of luck to ya!

I think you should do it for you and your health.
It will be hard to do but, it can be done.
You will need a lot of incouragment so
be prepared to feel sad at times but, always remember at the end when you
have lost the weight you want ( cause you will do it attitude)
you will be a lot happoer.

Good Luck

Yes, lose the weight and get fit. You will be glad you did. It takes a lot of effort to do a complete change, but I swear it is well worth it.

Do it for your health and your own happiness, the right person will love you for who you are, not what you weigh, with the exception of wanting you to be healthy.

for yourself and your health! A little hint...don't ever get into the habit of changing who you are for ANYONE...especially a boy (or man in the future)

Too much weight is not good for you. Lose weight for you. It will be much harder to lose weight as you get older. Hang in there girl and do it!
