I take 40mg Celexa a day. I was given the Xanax ( .25mg ) because the Celexa would make me jittery and anxious.

If you haven't taken Xanax before, I wouldn't take it and go anywhere until you know how it will affect you.

I started taking the Celexa at night, that way it would peak while I was asleep. That works for me, and I wake up better in the morning.
Good Luck.

I would say yes, only because I became addicted to xanax, was taking 5 and one half mg. a day. My doctor has been weening me off, I am now down to 1mg a day, with the help of Lexapro, and antidepressant. He states though that I will be on the Lexapro a long time, meanwhile taking xanax PRN, once I get all the way down. You have to be careful and always always talk to your doctor so he can guide you safely. I learned the hard way.
Good luck

If your body is used to the xanax then it may not affect you at all. The best thing for you to do is to call the pharmacist at the drug store where you get your meds, or call your doctors office and talk to the nurse there.
I don't know your weight and height, if you've eaten anything, and so on and so on, therefore, none of us can really give you a good answer.
I wouldn't think that it would make you too dopey. You're worried about the job interview and I'm worrying about you driving there. Be careful. Maybe you should take a whole one AFTER the interview.

I would suggest contacting your doctor or pharmacist to answer this question for you. We don't know your complete medical history here to tell you one way or another.
Xanex was too potent for me and actually made my symptoms worse. Know how these meds will affect you before you venture out please.
