Exercise at least three times a week; do both aerobic exercise and weight training. Do enough aerobic exercise to break a sweat and breathe hard for at least 20 minutes. You don't have to lift enough weight to bulk up, just use some small hand weights to tone your muscles and make them work harder. When your muscles work harder, they make you burn more calories. Also, notice how much you usually eat, then take smaller portions. And cut out anything in your diet that is mostly fat and/or sugar. In other words, if you normally eat a lunch that is a large sandwich and chips, eat half the sandwich and replace the chips with some fresh fruit or raw vegetables. Also, drink a good amount of water every day. I think the formula is 1/2 ounce for every pound you weigh (it's a good idea to try to do this even when you are not trying to lose weight).
Do not bother with quickie fad diets; you will regain your weight the second you go off the diet. Also, do not take all those over-the-counter pills that are on the market; they are not necessarily effective and can be dangerous or habit-forming. Diet and exercise are the only effective and safe ways of losing weight, period.

take in less calories then you burn. Try involving your baby in exercise. There are a lot of mommy baby classes out there (there great for bonding and losing weight.) Also videos are good at home.
There is no quick fix, do not go on one of those "diets" you willl just end up gaining the weight back.
Eat healthy and stay active!
Good Luck!

Weight Watchers has a safe healthy life style and it works. losing more than 1-2 lbs a week is not healthy and if you lose it to fast it can come back on easier

Expel more calories than you take in. Eat less and excersise more. That is the only way you will lose weight and keep it off long term. Good Luck ! :)

eat healthy foods, lots of water, watch your carbs and fats and sugars. make sure you stay active. take your baby on walks or runs with you sometime during the week. couple times a week. another thing i KNOW helps, even if its the ONLY thing you do during the day...atleast 10-20 or more sit ups every morning! it REALLY helps, not only your abs ;) but your cardio too! good luck

Diet and Exercise! Eat smaller-portioned meals and get moving. Maybe start training for a marathon?
