I'm a 31 year old male about 2 and a half stones overweight. I tend to hold most of my body fat around my stomach area. I'm due to start a cardio vascular/weights training programme, and I want to know the best type of foods to eat to support my training? I've heard that eating too much wheat/high carb foods, for someone in my situation is not good. But I dont know what to eat in it's place. I love food and need to eat something that will make me feel satisfied, and at the same time support me in burning fat fast, by training. Can anyone out there help?

What sort of drug would have these effects?

A friend of mine is in an abusive marriage. Her husband has turned extra "nice" of late, though. He does all of the cooking and brings her food and drinks so she doesn't have to get them for herself.

She says that sometimes, especially if he brings her something after they have argued, she passes out for at least 3 hours and wakes up with a very dry mouth. He tells her she is sick and needs him to "take care of her," but I believe he is drugging her.

At first, I suspect maybe Rohypnol (a roofie), but that drug lasts at least 8 hours and does not cause dry mouth, from what I can find. What drug could he be giving her that would only last a few hours but leave her with cotton mouth? I want to give her some advice to go to the police with, and at least warn her about what dangers she might be under if he is giving her something in particular. Any idea what drug might affect her this way?

In the last couple months one side of my tongue has swelled and after 3 to 4 hours it goes down. This has happened 3 times, never always the same side. Also yesterday the right side of my upper lip swelled. I think it has something to do with allergies but I am unable to find a common reason why.

I have pinched nerve from what I can tell it is my femoral nerve. I have been losing strength in my thigh muscle to the point if I bend my knee with too much wieght on my right side I go down like brick. I've taken muscle relaxers, put ice on it, and have taken probably more motrin than i should have and still can't releive the pain. I haven't seen the doctor yet. I'm trying to exhaust every treatment I can think of before I go. I will most likely go friday if i can't heal it myself. If someone has any other advice please let me know. I actually have a couple questions. I have type 1 genital herpes. When will I ever be able to have sex without a condom and not run the risk of spreading it? Is it only transferred through skin to skin contact? And is using a condom a sure fire way of not passing it on?

my nephew is 5 going to 6 in novemeber and he still has accidents. he says that he doesn't feel when he has to go to the restroom and we have taken him to the doctor and eveyone says he's fine. we have tried everything from giving him prizes when he goes to the restroom and actually taking away some of his games when he doesn't go but nothing works. i was wondering what was wrong with him and what could we do about it?

I am 5'8", 190 pounds, female...what is the maximum amount of weight I could lose in about 40 days(month and 10 days)..I know it needs to be safe, but I know it's possible to lose more than 2 lbs a week cause I have seen people do it(biggest loser, they have proffesional coaches) so what do you think..how many pounds is possible? and what do I do to get there? I have been eating 1200 cals a day and working out on my elliptical(interval training) for 30 minutes 6 days a week...is that enough? Thanks for all your help! :-)
