I'm a 31 year old male about 2 and a half stones overweight. I tend to hold most of my body fat around my stomach area. I'm due to start a cardio vascular/weights training programme, and I want to know the best type of foods to eat to support my training? I've heard that eating too much wheat/high carb foods, for someone in my situation is not good. But I dont know what to eat in it's place. I love food and need to eat something that will make me feel satisfied, and at the same time support me in burning fat fast, by training. Can anyone out there help?

A good diet for wieght loss in my opinion would be a rounded diet. If you take a normal diet of all your food groups and cut down a little in each place you should be able to lose weight slowly. As long as you don't feel faint or dizzy Cointinue the diet you come up with.

I'm a wrestler and know that drinking a gallon of water per day is a good way to lose weight in it self. it tends to wash out alot of the impurities it your system.

Cutting down on the fast food is another good way. THe fat in these foods is of the worst kind. Natural foods are the way to go. Fresh fruit and veggies are better than canned.

Hope you attain your goals. Hope i was of some help.

Added: Just to let you know there is no such thing as negative calories. Your body just uses more calories to digest the food that the food itself will give you.

hi, first of all im 13 to and i use to be 12 stone to. i got to admit it was had to loose wait but with the help of my friends and family i lost 3 stone i am now 9 stone. if you want to loose wait you first of all need to sat yourself a goal and try and figure out how much you want to loose. try and stop drinking soda and drink 10 grasses of water a day. water feels you up just as much as soda dose the only differences is that water is health and it doesn't rout your teeth and i know when u read this you well think what am i on about 10 glasses but that is acutely the recommended amount of water that your really should be drinking a day. running and exercising is a good idea and when your out walking try and walk past the shop and not go into it and just walk home. sitting at home doing nothing also can be a problem because it just gives you the feeling that your hungry when your not. you can also try and stay away from your family if they are eating snacks and stuff because they will make you cave in and then you will want one. don't take this the wrong way but just because your mum got skinny when she turned 16 doesn't mean you will. another thing is when you are getting your dinner get a knife and spelt it down the middle of the plate and only eat 1 part of the dinner. also like all mothers your mum has probably said to you over the years finish your whole dinner and don't move till you do witch really doesn't help you in any way. if you keep dieting and don't cheat on it you will be fine. and just keep this saying in your head ''a minute on your lips and an eternity on your hips''. hope i helped and good luck

Celery. If you chew it properly it burns off more calories than you take in.
Silly as this sounds, it works. Eat a raw carrot, chewing each bite properly, before every meal. It helps line the stomach and make you feel more full sooner.
Good luck.
