I'm not familiar with "Adam Ant" or his biography, so I have very little useful input for you except to say that bi-polar depression can be mistaken for several other kinds of mental health problems and only a doctor can properly diagnose you. So in short, if you are really concerned about it I would go to my regular doctor and tell them, talk to the professionals.

Considering that bi-polar disorder, (its a disorder, not a syndrome,) is a modern disorder constructed from a conglomeration of mood swings, chemical dependancies, depression, addiction, and impulse-control problems, no, probably not. I'm not quite cynical enough to argue that the disorder doesn't exist at all, but I don't think that most diagnoses are correct. Its very easy to see your own problems in a disorder like that, especially because the symptoms are so vague and broad.

The symptoms of any mental illness are never enough to truely know. You could be feeling a bit iffy rather than actually having the full blown chemical imbalance ( which is what the doctor will give drugs for) if your seriously worried go and see your doctor.

Adam Ant's autobiography is not a good measuring stick to guage whether you are bipolar or not. I found out when they took me to a locked down facility. If you fear you might have it, make an appt. with a psychiatrist. meanwhile, read the DSM definitions and symptoms for the disorder.

You may very well have it. I know people who do...and I think there are a lot more out there that are in denial. If I were you....I'd read as much as I could about it. I'd read stuff about it on the net. If you realize that you probably do have it.....I'd get meds from the doctor to help so that it doesn't ruin your life.

yeah, maybe a similar for me i became extremely loopy for some years although, 3 hospitalizations, wanting many psych meds and sleep meds just to stay extremely sane. maybe it may be undiagnosed each and every so often, they pay me exceptionally lots for having that label so maybe its worth it. $1033 buys extremely some beer. besides, yeah, i think of each and every so often psych diagnoses are in simple terms hassle-free incorrect, each and every so often they are genuine yet purely for then. besides there's a try , something like have you ever had 3 out 7 of those issues: listening to voices, grandiose suggestions, deep melancholy, etc.. they don't ask have you ever had them interior the previous 2 years, its have you ever had them. i became attempting to check myself and my sanity on line sometime, i'm not a psych pupil or document of any style so i assume i don't probably understand, yet besides one try asked if I had ever been hospitalized for Bipolar , then needed to cost me $30 to tell me that throughout keeping with that I had it.

No one on Yahoo Answers can really tell you that. Get a proper diagnosis from a medical professional.

The only person who can make a diagnosis is a doctor.
