yesterday afternoon, i stepped on something and i need to know warning signs/symptoms, and how long it takes for it to become noticeable...I had a tetanus shot about 5 years ago, am i still covered? Any and all replys would be greatly appreciated.

I was crouching and pushing a pile of freight when all of a sudden I felt almost like a crunching sensation in the back of my knee. It hurts when I move it, and on top of that my boss wouldn't let me go home. So for 9 hours I've been limping on it. I went and bought an ace bandage at lunch and wrapped it, but that didn't seem to help. Now that I've gotten a better look at it and am home, it appears that the back of my knee is grey and purple and there are a lot of purple veins leading to the area. I think it's swollen in the back as well. There's a soft lump kind of hanging down from the knee, it doesn't seem to be as loose on my other one. Any ideas?

As I get older, I start to forget things. I mean it's difficult to retain new information!!! Not only that, I have difficulty concentrating. Can someone help me? Please be nice... I was watching an older wilderness show (70s) where a guy was helping a doctor in remote villages in Africa treat the people with wounds. While he was doing this, they were sprinkling a white, powdery substance onto any wounds before bandaging them up.

Anyone have a clue what that powdery substance was/is?

I for some reason lately have no desire to be touched or if when I am close I stop competely because I feel I dont want to finish.
It is not the boy, it is me and I am scared because I am pushing him away and he thinks its him but really its me. I have never been molested or raped so its not like I have had a bad sexual encounter before...pls help.........its getting out of hand....I have spoken to him about it but he doesent understand. it is our problem. i mean when they tell us that they drink cause of us. cause they think they are in love with us and we dont want to be with them sort of like a controlling factor. will it help us with our feeling we are in bondage or quilty cause of their drinking. i mean all the emotional abuse that they put us through will it help with that? and also the physical abuse for all the years even though that stopped and it became mental abuse? will it help with that? and if so where can i get to one? and man why havent i known about this resource years ago i went through over 11yrs of physical to emotional to mental abuse the physical stopped when i put him in jail then the emotional rollerercoaster to mental torment. he maybe changing ,but i believe i have been damaged. well he tries not to drink when around me. he doesnt live with me, but when i take our son over there to him and his mom, who he stays with then he tries not to.i try to be nice so he wont give them hell. i am tired.

I am not dieting or eating any different than usual- well actually I may be eating even more than usual. I have had my thyroid checked as well as other labwork- nothing unusual has been found. I used to always struggle with my weight- always had about 10 lbs to lose. I had a baby last year and now I am underweight- I am sick of the anorexic and bulemic comments that I get from people at work. I am 5'4" and 105lb and still losing. I don't exercise more than 2-3 x a week- same as in the past. Do you think my metabolism could have changed that much after childbirth?

Hey guys- I have strep throat, and I also have mono right now. I haven't gone to the doc yet for the strep throat (I've had it for three-four days maybe) I'll be going mondy. But anyways... I'm currently taking Zoloft, Seroquel, an acne medication and Focalin. If they put me on something for strep throat (excluding pennesylin, sulfa- i'm allergic) Do you think that it will react/ or what do you suggest?
