yesterday afternoon, i stepped on something and i need to know warning signs/symptoms, and how long it takes for it to become noticeable...I had a tetanus shot about 5 years ago, am i still covered? Any and all replys would be greatly appreciated.

get a shot!,and avoid lockjaw(seriously)

i believe the shot is good for 7 years or longer. the old school name is lock jaw. the condition affects your muscles, i believe they get stiff. you have a better chance of getting infection than tetanus! watch the wound closely for several days!

Tetanus... a few years ago used to be called "LockJaw" that's a symptom I hope you don't get.............
